Our room was in a very tall old house. One of 3 that make up The Halliburton. It was very nice except for the stairs!! We were given a room on the third floor and there were two very steep narrow staircases to climb. If planning on staying there, be aware of this. If you have mobility issues you would not be able to climb these stairs. It is a long way up and down!

The staff was so friendly and helpful; always had the guest as a priority. Very knowledgeable about the city. The bathroom was spotless; level of cleanliness was far about even high end places. The 2 girls who greeted us when we stopped in early; couldn't have been more happy and accommodating. Perfect choice for being in Halifax!

The hotel was great, the staff was very helpful and the room was lovely. Our only concern was that there were a lot of rats in the parking area behind the hotel that were climbing over the cars. The staff confirmed this had been an issue so I know they are aware and working on it, but it was very creepy.

A great place to stay in Halifax! The room was super spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. The location is walkable to restaurants, bars, and the lovely waterfront area. I highly recommend the Halliburton!

We're originally from Halifax, and now we stay at the Halliburton every time we visit. The south end location is ideal for walking to waterfront, universities and restaurants. We love the historic building and vintage feel. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
