Great neighborhood, near the main train station, hopping with restaurants (and various hotels). Hotel is old (has regular keys that turn in a lock) but comfortable. Very good breakfast in a comfortable setting. Only drawbacks: You have to carry your luggage up a steep flight of about 15 steps, to the rooms. Also the reception/breakfast room is in the neighboring building so you have to go outdoors to get there (it was chilly and sometimes raining while we were there). Also you can't leave luggage as the reception is not always open. Otherwise we found this a modest, pleasant hotel.

The hotel did not find my reservation and was fully booked when I arrived. They have no reception, I had to wait on the street while they looked for my reservation only to be told to go find another hotel.

Das Hotel hat für Tagestouristen eine ideale Lage. Fast direkt neben dem Hauptbahnhof ist die Stadt mit dem ÖPNV super zu erkunden. Das Hotel ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Aber die Badezimmer und Toiletten dürfen für diesen Unterkunftspreis so nicht aussehen. Auch die Betten fallen bei dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis durch. Hier herrscht dringend bedarf mit einer Erneuerung. Dafür lohnt sich die Frühstücksbuchung, auch wenn gleich um die Ecke ein Cafe und Bäcker ist. Frisch und gute Auswahl. Wer es insgesamt einfach haben will ist hier gut aufgehoben. Insgesamt den Daumen hoch👍.
