EASY FOR BASE CAMP
Was nice and clean and comfy. room was big, only small problem was shower head holder was slightly broken, would slide down so had to keep holding shower head in place. did ask for singles and was made up as a double, but easy to move apart and maid was happy to make it up as two singles.

Acceptable hotel outside of downtown
The room was clean and spacious, though a little dated. No in-room safe which is disappointing. Hotel was fine (standard 2.5-3 star) for a couple of nights travelling on business and the bed was very comfortable. Public areas are also a little dated looking and could do with a refresh. The neighbourhood is graffitied but safe and within walking distance of good cafes and bars. About a 30-40 minute walk to the city centre or 10 minutes to the nearest S-Bahn. Adequate for a couple of days of solo travel.

Not half bad
Hotel has a great reception team, check in was easy and the room was ready early! The room itself was a bit run down. Overall it was a good hotel and in a great location!

decent but terrible service
Good location, walking distance to most things. Hotel itself has decent sized rooms but amenities are minimal and a lot of things like lights etc did not work properly. Service was terrible, they couldnt find my booking for an hour although I gave all the info. But if your ok on your own and just need a low priced decent hotel, then its fine.

Convention Fun
We were there for a convention and wanted to be close to the Messe. Be aware that depending on the entrance of the convention, your path to the Messe may be LONGER than expected. Overall the hotel was great! Big room, but with just basic necessities -- nothing fancy. Bed was comfy, but no Air conditioning which was tough with one of our days the temps reached 85 degrees! The furniture was slightly worn, and the overall look of the hotel is ECONOMY -- nothing fancy nor nice here. On the good side, the rate was great, the location super, and overall our experience with the hotel was just great. The front desk folks were wonderful, there is an ample bar in the lobby and overall, we had a great experience!

My luggage was lost by the airlines. Because of my limited language competency in German, a Hotel Domicil employee (Montana M.) spent significant time on the phone — on several occasions — trying to track it down & have it delivered to the hotel. The staff were very helpful to the many Rotarians who were visiting the city for their annual convention. The hotel was convenient to many shops and restaurants. It was well-priced and very comfortable. I would happily stay there again!

Rotary International Conference
Attended the Rotary International Conference. I liked the location of the hotel; easy bus and train access and within walking distance of the conference center. In addition to the location, the hotel was clean, room was very comfortable, and the staff was very nice. What I liked most was breakfast. They had such a nice selection of food. I certainly did not go hungry - yum, yum!
