Nice but beds were hard
The double bed was on the hard side & the sofa bed was very hard. The room was only just big enough & we had to walk sideways to get past the sofa bed to the bathroom. The treats for not having the room cleaned didn’t turn up but I got them after asking. The water dispenser is the breakfast juice dispenser, so had to fill up between diners. The shower & split bathroom were good, as was the internet.

The hotels air con didn’t work. We was given a key to open the window more but it was very noisy outside.We would stay in the hotel again but only in the winter.

Nice short break
We recommend this hotel. It was nice to be able to open the window because the air conditioning did not work properly. We would definitely return to the hotel but not in the hot weather.

Great location in Hamburg
Speedy check in, the room was perfectly clean and ready for us. It had a separate shower room and a toilet - perfect when you have four people in one room! Hotel location is two minutes from Bamberg U3 and S Bahn. There is a great cafe for breakfast nearby and a Rewe

On the listing for this hotel, they advertise central heating and air. However when we arrived at the hotel and found our room was stuffy and really warm, we tried to turn down the AC ourselves (there are controllers in the room). However, the room wasn't getting cooler. We opened the window, but our room faced out onto the train tracks and the noise made us want to keep the window shut. When we went down to reception to ask about the AC, they told us that the staff control the AC, guests don't. I think it's extremely misleading to claim there's central air and heating AND have AC controllers in the room but guests don't actually have any control over that. It should really be taken off your listing.

Fantastic choice of accomodation
Thoroughly enjoed the stay at this Hotel. All staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. The Restaurant is a real bonus with excellent breakfasts, coffee and perfectly adequate dinner choices. Rooms are super comfortable. Location is a stand out. Close to trains, buses and local shops- a five minute walk. Staff are able to communicate in English and Deutsch. Quiet part of Hamburg and local food markets just across the road. Many thanks.
