With it being a hotel I thought the bar would be open later the room was good we liked it only the bed was solid it was like lying on the floor and not enough pillows the two we had very soft apart from that we liked our stay

Quiet, comfortable room, good bathroom with nice shower, all clean and neat. Old Victorian-style hotel with atmosphere with spacious staterooms. Great breakfast included. Economically priced for its quality. Fast, no fuss checkin/out. Good free parking, and well located for access to Harrogate and villages. Has one or two quirky features (what hotel doesn't?), but have stayed there twice and will probably do so again when visiting Harrogate.

Although the room was clean, it was very tired - and not good value. The service in the breakfast room was very slow. The hotel was well located for the town centre and the reception staff were very pleasant.

Easy car parking, good location for all routes, large very quiet and comfortable room, large, clean bathroom, good water pressure. Breakfast included was great, full english with variety of sides, great service. There were a few minuses: Not much food except sandwiches outside dining room hours in the evening, too few teabags and milk in room, shower hose had troublesome kink that cut water pressure. But on the whole, great place, good Harrogate Victorian northern wealth ambience, big, spacious, comfortable, good value, will stay there again.

Friendly character hotel

Stayed a few nights with teenager to visit the local area. Good parking. Very polite and welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable room. Good selection of breakfast, ordered pancakes which were nice. Free WiFi in the room would have been a bonus.

Lovely Hotel

All good.Only minor complaint...Hotel was v full so breakfast service not as smooth as when were there before.However staff managed v well.We will certainly stay again.
