Eine wunderschöne Zeit

"Ich habe drei Wochen einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dem kleinen, aber feinen Ferienhaus von Maryse verbracht und habe mich gleich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und das Haus ist innen viel größer, als es von außen scheint. Die Vermieterin ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit und auch mein Hund hat Maryse vom ersten Moment an geliebt. Herzlichen Dank für diese unvergesslich schöne Zeit!"

At the foot of the Abbey in the heart of a small village and 9 km from Rouen

nettes Häuschen als guter Standort für Ausflüge

"Wir waren zu dritt mit Hund für 14 Tage bei Elisabeth und Jean Christian, die uns sehr nett empfingen. Das Häuschen ist stilvoll eingerichtet und entspricht den Bildern. Auf dem offenen Dachboden ist ein Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett. Alle sehr bequem. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet (ohne Geschirrspüler). Vor dem Haus ist eine Terrasse. Die Vermieter wohnen im Haupthaus. Hund war kein Problem. Man kann in der Nähe Gassi gehen. Bei Jumierge und Etretat sind schöne Wanderwege. Rouen ist schön und nah, aber schlimm verstaut. Man kann aber gut mit dem Bus fahren (Hund?). Honfleur und Dieppe sind zu empfehlen. Tagesausflug nach Giverny zu Monet in Kombination mit Versailles ist gut machbar. Die meisten umliegenden Schlösser sind nicht öffentlich. Ansonsten muss man die Besuche genau über die Webseiten planen."

Toll bis nicht so toll

"Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Die Lobby und das Restaurant sind sehr einladend. Das Bett war großartig. Den Zustand des Toilettenraums und des Bads beschreibe ich mal als renovierungsbedürftig. Was angenehm war, dass die Toilette separat war. Ich vermute, dass diese nachträglich eingebaut wurde, so dass deutlich zu hören war, was dort geschah. Auch die Lebensgeräusche aus dem angrenzenden Zimmer, Verbindungstür, waren deutlich zu hören. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, Alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen, der Ortskern, mit Restaurants, Bäckerei …und der Strand mit seinen atemberaubenden Klippen. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Marina, die Möwen sind schon sehr laut, auch nachts. Die geschlossenen Fenster halten den Lärm ausreichend gut entfernt, wenn der eigene Schlaf gut gelingt. Bei warmem Wetter kann dann die Klimaanlage eingeschaltet werden, die bei voller Leistung eher laut ist. Wir waren für eine Zwischenübernachtung hier um ausgeschlafen am nächsten Morgen weiterzufahren, was mit AirPods in den Ohren auch gelang. Wer ein ruhigeres Ambiente sucht, sollte im Hotel nachfragen, ob es Zimmer ohne Verbindungstür und nicht nach vorne raus gibt, auch wenn der Blick aus dem Fenster dann vielleicht nicht so schön ist. Fazit: Für den Preis habe ich schon besser geschlafen. 😉"
