It was fine for a quick stay after arriving from a late flight. Would not stay again. Would not recommend. Bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Whole place is drab and unkept.

a decent hotel near the airport
This is a decent 3-star hotel within walking distance of Heraklion Airport. Our room was clean and spacious enough for a family of four for a single night. The hotel's employees were kind and helpful. The hotel serves breakfast but we used the bakery next to the hotel, which was great. However, there are a few drawbacks: the noise from aircraft was noticeable even with the windows closed, the air conditioner was weak (which is common in Crete), and the pillows were too soft for our preference (though this is subjective).
