The property is in an excellent location and the indoor pool was awesome but the home could use some updates in the bathrooms, floors were not really clean and the cookware was in very bad shape. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Place

This was a perfect place for us, there were 13, we even lost each other in the house! lots of room both inside and out, close to lots of activities although you have plenty to do there. We will come back here for another family vacation.

Great Spring Break Getaway

Our stay in Hiawassee was great. This house was perfect to accommodate 6 families with kids from 8 - 18. Plenty for them to do including kayaking, paddleboarding, and beach volleyball. Lots of space for them to run and play football too. The rooms are large with 2 nice fireplaces. Priscilla was great at responding to any of our questions and needs. It is located within driving to hike waterfalls and white water rafting. Highly recommend for large groups!

Nice, Spacious Cabin

Overall, this is an amazing cabin that we hope to stay in again! Pros:5 Star Service. They respond quickly, are effective, and are understanding. The cabin's. Even the closets are room size. There is lots of seating and amenities. There were towels galore which was a concern. The kitchen was well equipped. The layout, as shown, with the glass and pool centered was great for seeing everyone and maneuvering the space. The location is amazing, with a great view of the lake and hills/mountains while also being in great proximity to stores (including groceries) and restaurants. There's a room that's not shown that's an extra lounge and office area with a desk, sofa (pull-out bed), and tv in it. The con of this is that this is why they say it sleeps 20. However, the place really can sleep 20 comfortably depending.Cons:There is some maintenance and extra cleaning that could be done. There were "not working" signs throughout the home, including on doors. The speakers in the pool room don't connect to anything. HVAC and water heater highlights: rooms on the same floor experienced different temperatures, "hot spot" in the foosball area, multiple cold showers, and the pool room doesn't have HVAC, so it was cold. So the pool temperature didn't seem to keep up and reach the 80 degrees. The hot tub placement was ok, but would've been better placed outside of the pool area. You have to either walk out of the pool area and around the house, or go through the master bedroom.

THE NICEST HOUSE WE EVER RENTED!!

The house is spotless. Dozens of Towels, dish soap, laundry soap. Every kitchen machine, piles of dishes, linen napkins. 2 Refrigerators! Indoor Pool with toys, horseshoe put. Burn pit. We brought are food and cooked Thanksgiving, in the Giant Kitchen. We 4 people cooking with ample space. 4 King beds, 8 twin beds. 3 Jtub in bath. It is aswrsome!!

Family Celebration Weekend

This property was awesome for a large gathering. There was something for everyone: pool and hot tub, outdoor games like volleyball spike ball, horseshoes, and corn hole, indoor games like foosball, table tennis, and a dozen board games, quiet corners and outdoor patios for reading, and a big kitchen with 2 dining areas for everyone to come together. Being on the lake on your own little peninsula was surreal and gave a lot of privacy and awesome views. Be sure to bring your own firewood to keep the pit going and a few extra towels for the pool. Otherwise the property has everything you could need. We cooked several meals and found everything we needed for cookware and utensils. Sleeping arrangements were plentiful and comfortable - including a bonus room with sleeper sofa which wasn’t listed among the 6 bedrooms. Would definitely recommend this property for a large gathering.

It was wonderful to have seating opportunities on three sides of the house so could avoid the sun. Kayaks and paddle boards much appreciated. Good supplies of dishes. Some of the mattresses starting to show some age.

Awesome property that checked all our boxes for a memorable family vacation.

One of the best kept, clean properties I’ve rented. The property manager was very quick to respond to questions and resolved any issues we had. There was an issue with some of the sliding glass doors not sliding well, and they took care of that. I can’t say enough about how well this property is kept, maintained and had everything we needed in the way of kitchen utensils, towels, etc. So nice that the laundry room is off the garage and on the main floor. The lawn was being mowed and cared for as we arrived. A plus is also how close it is to all the necessities within a short driving distance. So great that we will be back next year for our annual family lake vacation!

Amazing Location

This property is even more amazing than the pictures give credit. The house was lovely and clean, but it's really the outside that makes this place. Beautiful, quiet, great water access, lovely outside seating all over the place. A bald eagle comes to fish most days. We didn't want to leave. The host was very responsive when we had an issue (the power went out suddenly while we were there; it was a small area around us and was restored very quickly) and very kind.

Awesome Family Vacation

The property is even nicer than the pics. Absolutely beautiful location. Lots of amenities and activities to keep everyone happily occupied! The grandkids learned how to kayak and paddleboard and was hard to keep them out of the beautiful lake. Priscilla, property manager, was extremely friendly and accommodating. Kids and grandkids want to make this an annual trip, so we will be back !!!

In memory of Paul Mayer family vacation

The reason for 4 stars is because the refrigerator in the kitchen would not make ice. Before the repair man came it was making aboout 10 cubes/12 hours! After he came 0 cubes. The 2 level dock is in terrible condition and had broken glass on the top level. We felt as a family the dock should be replaced with a new one and the house could use an ice machine.

Beautiful, Fun, and Relaxing

This spacious home provided a beautiful setting for a fabulous family vacation. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards, dock with rented boat, multiple sitting areas with plenty of chairs to sit and enjoy sunset. It had enough beds for our group of 10 adults and 5 teens. The area offered plenty of hiking opportunities along with rafting and ziplining.

Large family get together

Our family meets up every summer in different houses around this extended area with the requirement that it is in the mountains and on/near the water. We have done this for 10+ years and never stayed in the same house twice. This is one we would rent again! Many of us said it was the best one yet. The location was wonderful and access to the lake very accessible for my elderly parents. Priscilla the property manager was very helpful and accommodating. The younger kids loved the indoor pool, which kept them nice and contained while the older kids loved swimming off the dock and using the kayaks and SUP’s. Our only suggestions to make it better are to turn one of the huge closets (they are REALLY large in 3 of the rooms) into another bunk room and or add a Murphy bed in the office instead of the pullout (which we didn’t use) so those spaces could be utilized more. It’s a large beautiful house with lots of space for everyone and lots of flat grassy areas for the kids to play. We were a little surprised to see that the week after we rented it the price listed was almost half of what we paid so make sure to check price differences week to week. We booked a year in advance and would have pushed it back a week if we were aware of that. Overall a great place and experience though. Would highly recommend!
