Nice room, but badly needs A/C!
Nice room, and the staff are very helpful. Two things though - A/C is badly needed, and the wi-fi signals are very week in the rooms, that is why they suggest connecting in the lobby. Nice view of the bay & pool from the balcony. The kitchen sink, silverware and plates, glasses, etc. was great to have, and the big fridge was nice too.

We loved that we could view the water, watch people fishing and hear the waves. The balcony was a cool place to sit. Appreciated the the kitchenette to cook. The hotel is showing it's age but it was clean and staff seemed to care about the place. Convenient to the airport. Good resonable priced place to explore Hilo and surrounding area.

Essentially a weekly motel where people live. Not an actual HOTEL in the sense of anything remote to a resort or traveler friendly property.

Great choice!
Great service, very friendly. The security person even helped carry my luggage to my room and gave suggestions for places to eat. We had an incredible view of the ocean and could hear the waves lapping against the shore.

It's not a "luxury" hotel, but it's clean, has great refrigetator/freezer, some dishes & utensils in additional to the microwave & coffee maker, a deep sink & dishwashing liquid/sponge. The ceiling fan kept the room cool & the little balcony had a screen door so we could enjoy the trades.

Our go to hotel for overnight stays in Hilo. Friendly staff, locally owned, yes it's not upgraded, but very comfortable and close to everything. The pool is a big bonus.

Older property with the basic amenities(coffee maker, hair dryer, laundry on property). Nothing fancy but with an older Hawaiian vibe, very cool. Nice views of the harbor and easy walking to the wonderful Lili'oukalani park.
