I went to check in an hour prior to their “arrival time” and they wanted to charge me an extra $25! I waited in my car instead. They require a $100 deposit, which is immediately charged to your card, for incidentals. It is refunded if they deem the room in satisfactory condition when you leave. I had to call them to inquire about my refund, which I received 5 days later. The entrance and the front desk area are cutely beach themed. That’s where it ends. This motel, not a hotel, has rooms where the doors don’t close, who knows who has access to them and what goes on. The elevator was broken so I had to walk past such rooms and was not comfortable. As far as I could tell they had three rooms occupied while I was there. The tv’s were HORRIBLE. This place is disgusting and I wish I had spent the extra $20 to stay elsewhere.

This was the single worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’ve left messages for the manager who was never onsite and never heard back. The room was dirty. There were people having a bonfire in the parking lot. The elevator was broken. There were people blocking the stairs. I cut my stay short and was charged for the full stay. Worth it to get out of that place!!

How to empty dehumidifier twice a day. Key rarely worked 3rd floor…elevator did not work. Promised it would be fixed before our stay. Weed smokers on our 3rd floor…smell awful. Water drip in bathtub. Coffee in lobby now available all day. Breakfast grab and go was a laugh.

Expedia did not show the address when I was booking it. I needed a hotel at a different place (Tybee Island) so this was a really horrible experience. Expedia is a very low quality booking website that does NOT provide the address of the hotel to users when booking it. I am very disappointed and wasted 3 hours driving to the hotel instead of 5 minutes if the hotel was where it was supposed to be.
