Great week long pit stop on our way to Florida from snowy Canada…clean unit in a quiet complex….has lots of shade trees and parking…the tennis courts are well maintained…pools were closed as it was February and cooler weather as expected…lovely island…we will be back

Property as described. Clean and comfortable, king bed was great. Location and access to beach was great. We used the pickleball courts which were a nice added bonus. Only thing I’d recommend was an additionalBlanket or two. The weather was cold while we were there and we got a little chilly in the evenings.

Better than Expected

First floor condo was perfect. Quiet and convenient. We are in our 60’s and did not want to rent a car. We biked everywhere and used UBER a couple of times to go to evening dinner. The beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and wagon were what allowed us to spend the day at the beach. They truly were the icing on the cake.

Fiddlers Cove

This condo accommodated our family of five well. With very young children and an infant, convenience was key and it was a five minute easy walk to the beautiful beach. The beach had restrooms close by. The two pools were very beautiful, clean and not crowded. The tennis court was ten steps from our door. We felt safe in the gated community and security did rounding frequently. The condo was very immaculately clean and well stocked. Would stay again here!

Perfect get away

My sister and I met here to get away from our families for a few days and this location AND time of the year did not disappoint! During our stay the neighborhood complex was very quiet, we did really see to many other people. Once you get to the unit it’s very clear on how to get to the beach, there’s two different codes to use which we just took pictures of on our phone. The beach is a VERY easy walk and if you aren’t able you could park at Folly Field park for public access. We used the beach chairs and wagon provided in the closet but they also have sand toys, coolers, tennis and pickleball equipment. A few issues- the VBRO address was not the same as in the actual address listed in the driving directions. I went to the wrong place briefly but got it figured out when I called the property manager. The king bed is a really firm mattress fyi. And final negative- if you are not used to condo living, the walls are really thin, you can hear everything. We went to 4 great restaurants- Nectar, Old Oyster Factory, Skullcreek dockside and Fish Camp. The outside dining on the last 3 was perfect. Food at Nectar was divine. We also went kayaking at Hilton Head Kayaking and that was awesome as well. I’d definitely do a repeat stay here!

Condo was lovely, very close to nice tennis courts. Beach was gorgeous. Bike/walking trails are awesome. Pools and hot tub also nice. We really enjoyed local comedy/magic show.

As others have said this is a small place, but it gets the job done. The pickleball courts are right across the way and we used them a lot. Unfortunately, the large pool was broken for a couple of days, but once working it was great. The walk to the beach was easy, as well. I would recommend this place.

Great Place!!

We have never needed a large place to stay when we come to visit our son, and this place is small but mighty… it a great way!! We travel with our adult son with Williams Syndrome, so having a second bathroom for the guest room is such a luxury. The place is clean, comfortable and well stocked! We will definitely be back!

Pros: Very nice condo, clean, close to the beach. All the beach gear included! Cons: First floor and you can really hear the people above walking, flushing toilets, running water, closing doors. It’s expected with a first floor unit, but they must get up early for work b/c it was weekday mornings from around 3:45am-5am….would wake my young kids every time, even with a sound machine in their room. Never could get connected to Wi-Fi, even with the 3 or 4 different passcodes provided.

Outstanding Stay! Great Location

Everything was perfect. The unit was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. It had everything we needed. The property manager was very responsive when we had a few questions. Our big concern was the location and this unit delivered. It took us 9 minutes to get to the beach with 2 adults, 2 wagons, a 3 year old, and a 7 year old. Super easy walk. My kids loved the large, heated pool too. You’re 20 mins at most to most places on the island. Plenty of good dining and grocery stores nearby. There’s a security gate when you come in, so it’s very safe as well. You can’t go wrong with this unit. We’ll definitely be back. Already planning on spending next fall break back there…. Maybe even a summer trip as well. We highly recommend!

Family Beach Vacation

Great time had by all at Fiddlers Cove. Condo was as described. Steve/Manager easy to communicate with. Short walk to beach access, 5-7 minutes. Property pools were good, hot tub as well. Nice courts for tennis and pickle ball. Condo centrally located to everything. Complex security crew very nice people. All beach items and play items already available by owners saving us a lot of time packing and space in our car, thank you very much. Minor drawbacks- no broom (we like to clean up after ourselves) and front door locking mechanism issues: did contact Manager and was appreciative of our feedback. All in all would be happy to return, A+.

Nice property

Visited this property for a long weekend. Effortless booking through VRBO. Some sort of glitch led to us not getting the check-in instructions, but host responded immediately and got us the info. Clean, recently redecorated property. Very nice. Only issue is the guest Wi-Fi was a pain to use; had to login every time your phone or computer sleeps and have to go through two acknowledgment screens to connect. Could not get our Kindles to connect at all. Not the fault of this host or this but rather the complex and their ISP. Was not a deal breaker but was an annoyance. Would happily stay at this property again and will seek it out next trip to the island.

Wildly exceeded expectations!

We've been home 2 weeks now but I can't stop telling people what a great stay this was! I think I have high expectations when it comes to cleanliness and this was above and beyond even mine. I will note that the listing said it was recently renovated and I feel like we were the first or second family to stay since the reno bc I was literally opening a few packages of new kitchen cooking utensils. So I hope they keep the cleanliness up! I was constantly surprised by all the little useful things they placed in "just the right spot" throughout the condo. Ex) we put pillows around to keep the 2.5 year old from falling off the twin bed at night...come to find out I should have checked the closet the first night bc there was a toddler bed rail! Every kitchen utinsel we could possibly need was there. Even the fact that they left a couple trash bags and a sponge and things like that helped us to help them keep the place clean! Hard to get "all the things" your first night there when you have kids and need to unpack and get them in bed. Finally, my favorite part... The beach closet! You guys are amazing for supplying us with a beach wagon, umbrella, kids sand toys, tennis rackets & balls, coolers, etc. I have never seen that at a beach condo!!!!! There's also family games included in the TV stand. Me and my family will absolutely be back and will plan to stay in this unit bc I'm afraid I'll be way too disappointed to stay anywhere else!
