Ho Chi Minh visit

Great location and we paid extra for a suite which was well worth it. Staff, like all our other hotels touring Vietnam, cannot do enough for you. Very courteous and helpful. Traffic here is ‘unbelievable’. We thought Hanoi was busy. Saigon is manic. Try crossing roads at traffic lights and even then, take care. Do not dither, the bikes will drive round you. We had a great time here.

Lovely hotel that has a nice rustic theme throughout. Staff were awesome and the hotel’s vicinity to the city centre and attractions was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again when next visiting HCM city.

We've been travelling Vietnam for three weeks and this is one of the better hotels we've stayed in for the price. Beds are very comfortable and staff were super friendly.

Fantastic customer service and great location - only a short walk from major attractions and lovely places to eat! The jacuzzi pool on the roof top was a great addition after a long day of walking and site seeing. Highly recommend!

Nice hotel!

I enjoyed my stay here! I chose the deluxe double without window, and I definitely wish I would have splurged on a larger room. The pool is relatively small, but it swims up to the bar and its always-polite bartenders. The breakfast is not bad.

Our favourite stay on mine and my partner’s recent trip to Vietnam! The breakfast was amazing with a great selection of options while the gym was also pretty decent if you wanted to get a short session in. As for the room itself, it was very spacious and felt very luxury! The rooftop cocktails were also top tier and would highly recommend to anyone staying here.

The entire hotel staff was welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent with combination of traditional Vietnamese food and Western food. We enjoyed the afternoon tea on the rooftop. That was a nice touch after wandering around the city. Thank you for a wonderful stay on our first trip to Ho Chi Minh.

We checked in very late (near midnight) and were given a room that didn’t have window, which was not the type we booked for. They were completely full so could not change that evening. Next day, they were able to move us to the appropriate room type for the remainder of our multi day stay. It was a minor inconvenience since it would be nice to settle in.

The best hotel of Ho Chi Minh

O hotel Au Lac Legend é maravilhoso. Ficamos 4 dias em Ho Chi Minh e tenho certeza que fizemos a melhor escolha. Além de ser um hotel muito moderno e bem preparado para receber seus hospedes, conta com uma equipe incrível e muito solícita. Os funcionários estão sempre a disposição para ajudar seja no que for. O café da manhã é excepcional, conta com uma variedade grande de pratos quentes, frios, frutas, cafés, estação de preparo de ovos, Phò e muito mais. O rooftop é um show a parte, uma piscina no último andar com hidromassagem para você curtir tomando uma bela bebida enquanto desfruta do calor do Vietnã. Outro ponto fundamental é a localização do Au Lac. Ele está, literalmente, perto se todas atrações turísticas importantes. Em um raio de 2 quilômetros caminhando, você chega em tudo aquilo que necessita conhecer. O único ponto negativo do hotel são os quartos sem janela (nosso caso). Mas eu aluguei sabendo deste detalhe. Porém, acho ruim um quarto que não tem luz natural. Fora isso, dou nota máxima para o hotel e recomendo a todos que estão lendo este comentário para que se hospedem no Au Lac Legend.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We were able to take a tour recommended by this hotel that was just what we were looking for. Loved the afternoon tea that was served. Nice touch. Because our room had no window, we were looking for chairs on the terrace. This was a bit of a problem as there is not much room for many loungers which means you don’t always get a place to relax.
