We really enjoyed our stay at Silverland Sakyo in HCMC. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we didn't have to lift a finger. Most of the sites were walkable from the hotel and the street had dozens of great restaurants to choose from. The ambiance at the rooftop pool & bar can't be beat.

great stay at a modern place - best shower

had a great stay in saigon's little japan town. the staff were amazing 10/10 and were very helpful to carry my bags up the stairs and to my room. check in was a breeze and we had daily cleaning. the shower was probably the real highlight of the stay as the tub was amazing and the shower head was very strong. the location is 10/10. close to all the japanese food we wanted and very easy for pickup and drop off. just a 10 minute walk is central saigon and the walking street so its very convenient. would gladly book again

Great location, great staff, walkable distant to almost all the tourists' sites. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, massages and spas right in front of the hotel. Always 3-4 taxis parked in front of the hotel if further travel is required. Staffs are pretty friendly and eagar to please. They rushed to the door to open the door for me during exit/re-enter the facility.

I had a great stay. The staff were all very friendly and I did like that they had tea/snack in the afternoon in the lobby for guests. The only reason I didn't give it 5 star is because the hotel is a bit dated. The carpet in the hallway could be replaced and once in awhile my room had a smell. But overall my room was great and everything worked.

This was a really excellent stay! The place is cool and stylish. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a separate omelette cook etc. The outside pool and pool bar are great: hot and cold sections! BUT: The most important thing I want to say is this: The staff are amazing! So helpful, nice, smiling, going out of their way to make your stay the best ever. I stayed in four different places during my stay in Vietnam this time (and in about 30 different hotels during the last 12 months) - this is the only one I really felt compelled to write a review about. Want to go back to Ho Chi Minh just to be able to stay here again!

Great customer service, specially the guest service attendants, they were super helpful, one in specific, however I can't remember his name, he was there most of the time. Great location, nice breakfast, close to main attractions, all VIP hotels should be like this one and Leiden Homestay Cafe.

Great value and location

Great stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and close to lots do restaurants and walkable to many places. It's a bit dated, but the room was comfortable and the AC worked really well.

Positives: * Excellent Location: The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with a wide variety of dining options within easy reach. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the local culinary scene. Negatives: * Disturbing Noise: The constant slamming of doors from other rooms was a significant issue. The force with which the doors closed created a disruptive and unpleasant noise throughout the night, making it difficult to relax and sleep. * Lack of Proactive Water Service: While water was available upon request, it would have been more convenient and appreciated if complimentary water bottles were provided in the rooms, especially considering the climate.

My stay at this hotel was enjoyable overall, but it fell short of being excellent. The property is well-maintained, and the staff were generally accommodating and attentive. However, a few issues stood out that impacted the overall experience. First, while the front desk and housekeeping teams were friendly and eager to assist, the lunch staff lacked the same warmth. Their service felt indifferent, which was disappointing compared to the otherwise welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, there was a small issue in my room upon arrival, but to their credit, the staff resolved it promptly and efficiently. While I appreciated their quick action, it was still an inconvenience that shouldn’t have occurred in the first place. Overall, the hotel shows promise but needs to refine its consistency and attention to detail to deliver an exceptional guest experience. With improvements in these areas, it could truly stand out.
