The only reason we chose this hotel because of its location. Pretty average and what’s really disappointing is that they don't have free onsite parking. You need to pay $23 for the hotel parking or $17 for a secured parking nearby. We chose the $17 offsite parking but ended up not using it because we realised it only opens at 7am and we had an early flight so we had no choice but to use the street parking. The hotel still charged us even though we told them we didn’t use the parking. I know it's only $17, but it’s principle we shouldn't be paying for something we didn’t use. Poor form in my opinion.

I was very happy how close this was in walking distance to the centre of Hobart, the Markets and a variety of eateries. There was nothing I didn't like, but one does need to comment the city of Hobart is hilly so walking around is at times a bit challenging

From the moment you entered the front desk staff were brilliant & always extremely helpful this also includes the night Auditors simply amazing, our room (916) was always immaculately cleaned & presented, the lovely Room Attendant on the 9th floor was amazing, extremely helpfu, understanding & no request was a problem with this lady. The restaurant Mr Good guy was a great way to start the day with their buffet breakfast & their dinner menu had some amazing dishes, their soft shell crab bao, salt & pepper squid, special XO fried rice, crispy lamb ribs simply delicious, the Hotel was also so conveniently located if you feel like walking as your exploring Hobart, 10 to 12 minute walk down to the harbour including Constitution Dock, a simply amazing restaurant The Landscape Restaurant, & a casual 10 minute walk down to Salamanca Markets (Saturdays) & also the same casual walking to the shop's including Myers, Elizabeth Street Mall, Centre Point Mall, The Cat & Fiddle Arcade. Ibis Styles Hotel was simply the perfect getaway.

No major concerns about this property. The pool and sauna were great. Gym was very basic, size of a double bedroom. Housekeeping forgot to do basics 3/7 day stay, but a call to reception quickly rectified this. 10 min walk out of town. Breakfast was good and reliable. Room was smaller than anticipated, and small gripe but no smart TV and Samsung smart share didnt work. Not a big deal but for a town that doesnt have much to do after dark except dinner, was kind of annoying.

I had a 4 night stay in Hobart. The hotel was in a great location and the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast options were great. The only small problem is that there is no other food options on site. If you want a soft drink, you have to pay high prices at the bar. There is no snack options so you either need to have it delivered or go out and find it. A vending machine would have fixed the problem.

Loved it here, especially how great the staff were. Perfect location & good facilities. My only negative is the tv channels were pretty bad/basic & had no option for chrome cast. Otherwise a nice stay.
