Aloha! Your 2BR Honolulu cottage is so well-located, you won’t even need a car. Find yourself just down the street from the Honolulu Zoo and Aquarium and right at the edge Kapiolani Park -- the largest park on Oahu.

Adventurous vacationers will appreciate that legendary surfing at Waikiki Beach is just a 10-minute walk from your door, and the Diamond Head hiking trailhead is also close at hand.

The local farmers market is the place to be three times per week for fresh produce (perfect for crafting tasty meals in your full kitchen) and homemade wares. And don’t miss a visit to Queen Kapiolani Garden, right in your own backyard.

ABOUT THE COTTAGE

Tropical décor makes the living room extra inviting -- and the layout is ideal for socializing, with plenty of seating for the whole “ohana.” There’s a teak wood bench with comfy cushions, two wicker chairs, and a reading table for two.

In the peaceful backyard, you’ll find plenty of room to relax on the lush grassy area, or enjoy dinner alfresco at the picnic table in the front yard.

Pretty and practical, the kitchen boasts glossy new white appliances and granite counters, with plenty of cabinet space for storage and a moveable center island for additional prep space.

With two bedrooms, the home sleeps four comfortably. After a day at the beach, kick back in the charming master bedroom, complete with a wrought-iron queen bed, flat-screen TV, and plenty of storage in a teak dresser and closet.

Adjacent, the second bedroom offers two twin beds with lovely wrought-iron bed frames. Large windows let in plenty of natural light.

A full bathroom features a subway-tiled tub/shower combination and extra storage.

THE LOCATION

Fun for all ages, the Honolulu Zoo (10-minute walk) and Aquarium (14 minutes) delight with creatures from the water, land, and air. The 300 acres of Kapiolani Park (8-minute walk) are waiting for you to explore and enjoy. Admire the vivid foliage at the Queen Kapiolani Garden, located right behind your rental.

World-famous Waikiki Beach (10 minutes on foot) is known for surfing, but also has tons of other watersports like sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, and of course, swimming in the warm waters of the Pacific. Stock up on fresh produce and meat at the local farmers market, taking place every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Hike the trails of Diamond Head (8 minutes away) and enjoy fresh air and incredible views. You can also honor those who lost their lives at the Pearl Harbor Memorial, less than an hour away.

Peaceful Central Point
Such a great, comfortable, quiet little cottage that is just right outside Waikiki. You will love hearing the birds (and roosters). You can take a short walk to get to Pioneer Saloon for a plate lunch or Bogarts cafe for breakfast. The beach and the zoo are all right there. Just a wonderful, restful little spot for when you are in Honolulu. If you want action this is not the place for you. No tv- just a smart tv in bedroom. Open up the windows and enjoy the breeze and peacefulness. And yes be prepared for the driveway - just use the parking lot of the park next door for coming and going.

Best Location
The cottage is in the most convenient location with beautiful view of Diamond Head from bedrooms. Walking distance to great food, cross Kapiolani Park to beach in 15 mins. It was spotless! Only minor downside was drains were slow and would back up in kitchen and bathroom, likely because of older plumbing. We would love to stay here again.
