Everything was great but one of the receptionists, the older lady with dark hair was very rude. We came out of elevator asking where the parking for hotel was, she barked at us asking if we were staying there. We had just come out of elevator and had the room keys in our hand so it was unnecessary comment. Again we asked where was the parking lot for hotel for our friend to park, she just said "around the corner". She had no intention of helping us, she looked like she didn't want to be there and was bothered by us asking. Mind you we're not tourists but permanent Oahu residents.

Spent two nights here before heading to north shore. It’s very convenient but our room faced the busy road so a little noisy. The room was a bit dated and the carpet needed replacing but overall it was good for the money

You get what you pay for. The best part of this hotel is the front desk staff who were kind and helpful. The location is not bad, located at the opposite end of Diamond Head, about a 15 minute walk from Waikiki Beach. The beach nearest the hotel is about 10 munutes away but it is very rocky. The pool is not inviting. The room was not updated but we did not expect much for the price. However, we did expect a clean bed. We found a mattress cover with several stains, under a stained comforter, under a stained flat sheet that was under another flat sheet covered by a brown blanket. Disgusting! Also, who puts a comforter under bedsheets? Because the cleaning staff leaves at 8 pm we requested clean sheets and changed the bedding ourselves. There was also one night where we did not have electricity in our room for hours. I thought hotels had emergency generators for this type of thing but I guess not. There was no acknowledgement of the situation, no apology, no nothing.

The property is older and squeaks when u get in the elevator , it’s also in an old part of Waikiki with lots of street noise that u can hear from your room BUT the staff is amazing and all very kind people so this place is affordable for a couple day stay!
