This is a very cute hotel in a great location for shops and restaurants, and walking distance to the beach. The pool area with a palapa with swing seats is very relaxing and the best part of the hotel. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced during their long happy hour. They even have a speak easy, which was pretty novel. The only down side to the hotel was they were not very accommodating when they ran into problems. They had some maintenance issue so they couldn’t put us in the pool side room which we had booked, so they offered us another room on the 3rd floor and a $30 food and beverage credit for our trouble, which I felt was not sufficient. When I told them that and that I had booked their hotel because of the pool side room, they just shrugged. Half of the hotel didn’t have hot water for a couple of the days we were there. We avoided that but it didn’t sound like they did much for the people who didn’t. Finally, the hot tub, while really nice, was way too hot. I like very hot hot tubs, but this one could cook lobsters. All in all however, the nice rooms, pool and location make me highly recommend the hotel. It’s a throwback to an earlier time and likely will be torn down in the not too distant future to make way for a luxury high rise, which will be a travesty…stay here while you can…

We stayed here for 6 nights. We loved this place, the staff always had extra towels for us and the location is awesome. The walk to the beach is not long at all maybe 8 minutes but it’s fun to walk by and see everything on Waikiki. This place is a hidden gem. You get the vintage Hawaiian vibe while still being modern.

The service was good. Stayed here before. The place is a bit worn out but has good rooms. Might need to get updated. The valet person was very rude and spoke to people in a very belittling way. Def not very customer friendly. This is the guy with a tiny spider tattooed on his hand. Night staff and morning front desk staff was very accommodating. Room service people were nice and very helpful when approached. Would stay here again. Prob won’t bring in a car though.

The hotel was clean and convenient. Seemed more suited to a younger crowd looking for convenience and lower rates. We picked an evening when the pool area was rented to an event. The party went on until 1 am.

This hidden gem is in the heart of Waikīkī. Walking distance to great food and entertainment. The hot tub jets weren’t working but it was nice and hot! The pool swings at the bar are a fun treat. Staff is awesome.

This is an older hotel though it’s renovated. However, do note that there are no elevators. The pool chaise longue needs to be updated and reupholstered. My room still has carpet. Better to remove it. However, with that said, the decorations are trendy and cute. It has a bar and dining options and I had the best sleep I’ve ever had in months. Surprisingly, it was quiet and the bed was great. Will I return? Yes.
