What a fantastic stay. An amazing historic hotel that feels very special. We stayed in the stables. Our room was lovely great bathroom,comfortable bed and amazing view of the beautiful hotel. Breakfast was great good quality food and attentive service. We loved everything about the hotel. The grounds are wonderful to walk around. This hotel is special as are the staff who seem very proud to work here and want you to experience the special nature of the hotel and it shows. This was an amazing experience.

Luxury hotel with friendly & helpful staff

Once you’ve been greeted by the large white automatic gates upon arrival at the estate, you are transported -through what are easily some of the best looking hotel grounds that I’ve ever stayed in- to what is apparently an English castle. Parking is easy and convenient, and the short walk to reception leads you straight to the next joyous realisation... the staff here are fantastic. Warm, friendly, helpful, observant and they engage with their client. The room itself was fairly basic in comparison to the rest of the hotel however the amenities were all there, and it was clean, and measured against similarly priced rooms that I’ve stayed in, it’s actually superb! The bed was extremely comfortable and after a long day, well met! Breakfast was fantastic, more staff making everyone feel very welcome and looked after and the food was great quality (I can’t believe the put it in the cost of the room to be honest!) Checking out was really easy and with the hotel being 20 minutes from my Head Office, I will be definitely using it for future trips! Thanks to you all
