This beach/ocean front, private, quiet, newly built, clean, upscale, modern, vacation condo rental property just steps away from the beach and minutes from the city of Horta in the little, quiet, peaceful village of Pedro Miguel. We have everything you need to truly enjoy the blue island of Faial, Azores (Portugal, Europe). This unique rental property sits on 2 acres with unobstructed oceanfront views with no neighbors alongside or in front of you for extra privacy. Public beach access, steps away, with outside showers. Each self-catering condo offers beach/ocean front views with 3 large bedrooms (full-size beds) with abundant closet space, 2 bathrooms with shower and bath (towels provided) and two sofas in the living room. Each floor can sleep 4 adults comfortably and 2 small children. There is a washing machine is available. BBQ outside. Large balcony and private verandas off each room overlooking
2 acres of private ocean\beach front property. Plentiful parking outside, the enclosed private quarters. Beautifully landscaped environment. The kitchen is newly equipped with a refrigerator, gas range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and flatware. Large dining room table along with outside patio table and chairs. This property is located approximately 8 minutes from the City of Horta (Faial) and 25 minutes from the airport located in Castelo Branco. Rental cars are available at the airport or local taxi service. The island of Faial, a safe, tranquil, peaceful island with beautiful scenic views of two, dormant volcanoes with plenty of hiking trails, is also known for its world renown Big Game Marlin Fishing, scuba diving, and other outdoor swimming/ocean activities. The ocean is warmed by the gulf stream in the summer, avg. temp. 70-73 degrees. Restaurants are plentiful, with freshly caught seafood. There are plenty of shopping stores in Horta or surrounding villages. Large supermarkets are available for those who prefer cooking from home. Don't Hesitate!
Excellent experience during our 4 day stay at this property. Wife and 2 kids (12 & 8 years old) had an amazing time in this apartment. The views are breathtaking from the deck side of the apartment (some of the best on the island). Bedrooms are very spacious with tons of storage closet storage space. Bathrooms are well appointed and the open style of the kitchen/dining/living room allows you to really appreciate the views. Owner provided access to iron/ironing board/washer/dryer and even beach boogie boards for the kids. There is space to park your rental car as I would recommend one at this location. The property is about 25 min from the airport ($20 taxi ride) and 15 min from the island center. Make sure to bring electrical outlet adapters if you plan to plug in electronics. The wifi at the home provided top tier speed and connectivity. There is no AC in the home but it is not needed. We went in early August and kept the sliding deck doors open and it provided a great breeze throughout the day and night. Property is located about a 3min walk to a beach that has limited beachgoers. If you want privacy...this is the place for you.

Beautiful stay !
We had the lower level of the house, and it was very spacious. The balcony is huge overlooking farm fields and over the ocean, a clear visual of Pico. I would highly recommend anyone coming to the island is to stay at this place. The only downside I would have to say would be he will be hearing roosters very early in the morning (5am) and all type of other farm animals in the facility. Once you get used to it it’s OK but bring some ear plugs! The owner was in very good communication and if we needed anything, he would help us out. We stayed 5 nights and it was a great experience!

Memories
We spent a very good time on the island Fajal. Time to enjoy nature, to come down and just relax. The place of the apartment was well looked after; close by we could go to the sea, swim and have a look around visiting the imposant nature miracles.The garden and the house invited to have a rest on the balcony to have a good glass of wine. Fajal is a very interesting island for visitors to get a feeling for the development of our the way the earth became the green and blue planet what it is today. Capelo and the Museum of Capelo is a place you shouldn't miss. The caldeira and trails around with all the blossoms are pictures you won't forget.

A place to relax and detox with a stunning view
Gabriel’s house is one of the best maintained houses we had and the one that deals with the humidity the best. It is dry and did not smell at all. The patio is offering a great view to the see and a small beach is just in arm’s reach. Gabriel provided a lot of helpful information to get us started and great tips where to go. 10min from Horta makes it also a great spot to plan your trips on Faial whether you want to walk the Caldeira or go to the vulcanos. 10 out of 10!
