My overall stay at the Cambria Hotel was good. The hotel was clean, safe, & quiet and the staff were nice. However, I did encounter a small issue with the cleaning staff & the front desk. For example, after checking in, I noticed that I didn’t have enough towels & clothes hangers. I called the housekeeping line, but the call ended up going busy. I then contacted the front desk, where a gentleman answered, & I was told that those items would be brought to my room, but they never arrived. The next day, I called again & spoke to a lady to voice my concern & request the items. Fortunately, they arrived shortly after that. Another issue I faced was during my interaction with housekeeping. I needed more trash bags & face towels. I heard housekeeping nearby & asked for additional face towels for my daughter & me. Unfortunately, no one spoke English, so I used Siri to translate my request, which worked perfectly. One last thing to note is the parking cost at the hotel was quite high, ranging from $50 to $60 a night with in-and-out privileges. The only thing that saved my money regarding parking was the lot next to the hotel, which charged $30 a day with in-and-out privileges. To be honest, the parking situation in downtown is quite frustrating, so my daughter & I decided to use Lyft to get to various restaurants in the area. The Lyft rides were very affordable, averaging around $10 for a round trip. Lastly, would I stay at the Cambria Hotel again? Yes! 😊
