My stat here was okay. Could’ve been better , the parking with the hotel garage and the overflow lot wasn’t the best. 2/4 elevators worked and half the time it took a about what felt like 10 mins for the elevator to come. Also the overflow lot where I was advised to park my truck by the lead valet got broken into on the Saturday night I was there mind you my truck was the only one that got broken into so that was unfortunate

Disappointing Stay at DoubleTree Hilton I checked into the DoubleTree Hilton on February 14th for a birthday staycation in Houston, expecting a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my stay has been far from satisfactory. At check-in, I was offered a complimentary room upgrade, which I accepted, assuming it would be an improvement. However, the upgraded room was in poor condition— the bathtub was dirty, the sheets were dingy, the room was hot, the refrigerator was rusted, and the TV cabinet was missing a drawer. I contacted the front desk, but the receptionist who assigned the room was unavailable. Instead, I spoke with Miriam, who was dismissive and delayed addressing my concerns. After waiting in line again, another receptionist reviewed my photos and reassigned me to a new room. While the second room appeared better, I soon discovered that the water never got truly hot. As of Sunday at midnight, the issue worsened—now the water is entirely cold. Despite maintenance being sent, the problem remains unresolved, and I have no choice but to bathe in cold water before checking out. This stay has been disappointing due to poor room conditions, maintenance issues, and inadequate customer service. I cannot recommend this location and urge Hilton to address these concerns for future guests.

There was a few issues we had, 1st we booked a king suit with balcony and city view...the pics did not match up to the ones showed for the room. It was very outdated, rundown, our bathroom had a bath shower combo and the bottom of the tub looked filthy. The restraunt wasnt even what is listed on expedia site its not american its a totally different one that is a cajun style. Grant it it was very good, menue is very mimimal the waiter hewas fantastic. Checking in was irritating, the lady at the counter said the room wasnt ready cause they were booked up yesterday and they would call us when it was ready so we went to the museum and at 6pm stillno call, we made our way back to the hotel and finally got our room..overall the ciew was a side ciew the room was ok i dont think it was really worth the mone. Ohh and another note...the elevator s omg they need some more it took forever either waiting on them or to go to ir room or leave And also another note...if you are on a higher level it stops all the flipping time. Ice, well you would think their would be 1 at ecery floor or every few floors...nope. only 1 and it was on the 2nd floor

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in , this is definitely a 1 star hotel. My room was dirty. The toilet was cracked, and the baseboards in the bathroom was falling apart and it was a nail sticking out in the carpet. The pool was dirty as well.
