nice hotel nice stay
I did come in about 2p, I wanted to see if there was an option to check in early. but was told that no rooms were ready. I asked again after 30 minutes because i saw that 2 people ahead of me were allowed to go to there rooms, yet i continued to sit patiently. My 10 year old granddaughter was getting a bit restless and wondered why others were able to check in, so i asked again and was told that the carpet was still wet.. yet it was about 330. 10 minutes or so passed and she called my name and told me that she apologized and my room was not involved in the carpet cleaning.. It was a bit disheartening, yet I enjoyed the view of the nice hotel and the flavored water that available in the lobby.I know that being allowed to check in early is a courtesy, yet watching others check in ahead of me.. which you can verify from your data was a but unfair. The hotel was beautiful my stay was nice, that night the a/c didnt seem to give out much cool air but we tolerated it..

The rooms were dirty, bulbs shorted the moment we walked in, mold everyone, including pouring out of the vents. I would never let a soul stay here, and we respect Hilton and Hotels.com greatly.

The bed was so hard that I might as well have slept on the floor. There was no hot water. The room never cooled off. The condition of the furniture was beaten up and terrible. The was not enough parking.

Couldn't turn on the water. Didn't have the strength to pull hard enough on knob to begin. Had to get help from a friend. Then tub never drained properly. Took forever to drain. Won't stay again. Reservations paid for months in advance. Hotel should have been better prepared for our stay.

After prepaying in full for our stay, upon our arrival we were told that there would be a parking fee and an additional hotel fee. There is open pavement parking no garage, so I m not sure why guests are now being charged for parking. The hotel is old, and needs to upgrade their elevators, AC, and plumbing. We have stayed at this hotel several times. Front Desk stated that these charges are new. A customer should not be surprised by charges. When paying for the room, Hotel.com gives the total for stay. If there are additional charges this information should be included in the total pricing. There was an issue with the hot water & the AC. We have stayed here because of the marina view and the tasty restaurant breakfast. Now we are told that complimentary breakfast tickets given during special occasions will no longer be given to guests. We normally stay here during a birthday or anniversary celebration. The Front Desk MGR clearly could have been more customer friendly. Fortunately, we found a beautiful hotel on the marina that we will be staying in the future. This hotel is fabulous! No parking fees or additional random charges. This is a better option for people who want to have value for their money. Why pay for a old hotel that just wants the money and doesn't provide consistent cool AC, Hot Water, but imposes other charges on their guests. There's always a better option. This Hotel doesn't represent the Hilton standards very well.
