MD Anderson patient
I have breast cancer and am a patient of MD Anderson. I love staying at this hotel as it is close to the hospital and we are familiar with all the restaurants close by. The elevator was broken this time and there was no shelf in shower to place shampoo, soap and washcloth. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Always stay at this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for the Texans football game. Not only was the hotel one of the nicest hotels ive stayed in, but the staff was amazing as well. There was also a shuttle to take us to the stadium. My experience here was remarkable.

The bathroom was updated but unfinished. No frame around the door, sheetrock under the sink had holes at the bottom. No chair or desk in the room. Mattress was fine. In the lobby, carpet on stairs was old and looked dirty. Shuttle service (by Uber) to hospital was convenient. Don't know if it was complimentary or not because I never received the email copy of my bill they said they would send.

The hotel is a great distance to NRG. They provided two towels for four guests. There was no security lock on the door. The breakfast was gross with the coffee super thick and the eggs rubbery. The bartender didn’t show up so that wasn’t an option. The tv did have direct tv.

Awful!!
Hotel was not clean but the worst thing was the smell of both our room and our son’s room. It was so musty and moldy smelling that it made my eyes, nose and throat burn. Our sheets felt damp so I slept with long pants and long shirt first night. They changed sheets 2nd night and they were better. Employees clearly were not happy with their jobs. Probably embarrassed and defeated from constant complaints. When we asked if breakfast was good, girl at desk got wide eyed and said “well they changed some things and we haven’t been getting so many complaints. They had a bar in lobby but it was closed because bartender quit. First time to Texas to see the Lions Texans game. Terrible experience. Thank God the lions won.

Checkin and check outwas efficient and i was allowed to arrive early and leave later due to medical appointments. They scheduled and paid for Uber rides within 3 miles to my doctor's appointments since they didn't have cortesy transportation onsite. Tne front desk clerks were very nice. Small low budget upgrades were done to the floor and shower area of my room. However, this hotels needs massive upgrades to compete in the local market. My room smelled horrible. The bedding was old. The bed was uncomfortable. The walls and A/C appeared to lack any maintenance in years. I called to my room cleaned the 2nd day, but noone ever showed. When i called back, they apologized, but only sent towels. This was my worst hotel experience. If every order nice hotel was not full near my doctor's location, i most definitely would have checked out the 1st day.

Great hotel
We had a great stay. Very interesting hotel but we really liked the vibe. It was almost 11 pm when we arrived and it was still a very easy going check in process. We had no wait at all. The bed was comfortable and my husband said the breakfast was decent. I couldn’t eat because I was having surgery this morning. All in all it was a great hotel and we would stay there again.

Our room seemed to not be finished after renovations. There were no towel racks, soap holder in shower, toilet paper holder in bathroom. No bedside lights, very dark. There was a smell in the room. Breakfast okay. But it was quiet.
