Starting with the good it was a great location based on the close proximity to the airport. The restaurant, although very basic, bare and uninviting served up good homemade meals. Our server was friendly and charming. The hotel staff (with exception of Lui ) was appalling. Rude cold, unfriendly. Dismissive. We arrived after 4:00 pm very tired after being away for a month. We were told we would have to carry our luggage to the second floor as there was no elevator. Or we could wait for first floor rooms to be cleaned. We had booked and paid for these rooms expecting to check in at 3. We went out to the pool to wait because we had too much luggage to go up 2 flights of stairs. We couldn’t get in the pool gate. When I asked the tall desk guy he came around the counter without saying a word and walked out to the pool. Opened it and walked away. The hotel reeked of smoke and pot and very strong cleaning solution. There was no soap or hot water in the morning for shower. There were too many things wrong to mention. The booking of the shuttle. The morning clerk who was clearly uninterested in anything we had to say. This review comes from two seasoned, easy going travellers who can get past most anything when there is a smiling friendly face making an effort. Do not recommend this hotel.

It’s what you pay for on a budget and close to airport. It’s run down, there is an odd smell, the beds are comfortable but it’s very inexpensive for the location.
