I arrived at 6pm and had to wait for 20 min for a room to be ready. I wasn’t alone three other customers came in after me… They had to wait as well. The front desk person was the worst. He sat the entire time he checked me in. When I got to the room, someone had gone crazy with the room deodorizer. I couldn’t stop coughing. Then I started finding bugs. Ants in the bathroom, roach on the ground. I will never stay at this place again.

We had to have the front desk person let us in our room. Had other guests trying to enter our room at midnight. Everything just felt dirty. Shower door was broken. No breakfast. Not what I was hoping for, for what we paid.

Tihs particular location seems to be going through a rebranding. It used to be a LaQuinta which explains alot. Its' not a Sonesta just yet lol. There was a roach in my room. There was paneling falling off the walls near the elevator. I didnt get to see the breakfast. I was probably sleeping in too late. I'm sure it'll get much nicer as time goes on. Great if youre on a budget. Overall the surrounings feel safe.

To Whom It May Concern, My name is Ericka Oliver and I am staying at the Sonesta in Houston Westchase. It was supposed to be a nice stay for my husband birthday but things went wrong from the start. The day of check in it was about 9pm and the front desk had to switch our room because the room we had reserved had not been cleaned. Next we could not get a key to our room, the front desk said certain rooms keys cannot be made for. Meaning that every time we leave out of the room we have to wait for the front desk worker to let us in our room. Also we had no breakfast in the morning which is one of the reasons I chose this hotel because we are morning people up early. When I asked the front desk about the breakfast I was told no breakfast because the cook quit and another cook has not been hired. The water in the swimming pool looks murky and cloudy. The swimming pool was another reason for choosing this hotel to stay in. But the water in the hot tub is nice and clear. This is totally unacceptable business practices and if conditions were this bad under forseen circumstances I should have been made aware seeing as I booked this trip well enough in advance to be made aware of the problems and the Westchase location. I even asked if my reservation could be switched to another Sonesta location and was told no. If we go to another location that I would have to pay for another room. We requested and paid to have a two queens suite but got a 1 king bed suite instead. Our room was dirty and had infested ants in the washroom and also had a flying cockroach in our bed. At the time of the posting they advertised that the hotel offers free breakfast but once we got there they did not offer it. The fridge in our room also did not work and the tv as well until we called room service to fix it. Overall a terrible experience and would not recommend at all.

Check in took a very long time, the front desk person seemed like she was having issues with the computer but didn’t communicate for a good 5-10 min. The room was spacious and comfortable but there was a hole in the wall right next to the bed and the extra lock in the door was broken.

Interesting property because I gave it fairly high grades yet overall I only gave it a 3. It was a nice hotel. The daytime girl who was the receptionist acted like she couldn't care less about whether any of my requests were any of her concern. I wiuld say more but there is not enough room to correct any errors I make.

This stay has caused me to question my return to ANY Sonesta from now on. I am a former night auditor/night manager so I speak from a place of experience. First, I was very unhappy with the lack of professionalism at the front desk. No one was in any kind of uniform. Now even if the hotel does NOT mandate a uniform, at least slacks and a polo shirt should be the minimum for a hotel the level of Sonesta. The front desk agent that checked me in did it incorrectly. I asked for room and tax to be put on one card and the deposit be taken from another, but he gleefully took it all from the same card. This young man was also on his phone for the better part of the checkin and most of the time that he was at work. I chose the hotel because of the breakfast. When I arrived at the hotel the agent informed me about breakfast time and where only for me to find out the next morning that the kitchen was broken or something and no breakfast, not even continental, was being offered. No adjustment was made to my rate and no apology was given by the staff. My room was not cleaned for 2 straight days. Before the second missed housekeeping day, I specifically requested that it be cleaned. The internet from the restaurant across the street was better than that of the hotel. Then after all this, the ministry I was working for had a slight change in plans that required that I stay in place for about an extra hour. I asked for a late check out that was not granted citing policy. Never again.

I book two rooms with two beds . They don’t have available. I am wighting for lobby 2 and half hours. Talking customer service. They did not give Evan good service. Very poor bad service. You can find with video on lobby at 10 pm to until 12:30 am. Talk to customer service. I call yesterday before 3:00 pm 6 time confirmed my reservation. They are not responding. I have all so calling proof. My little kinds and old parents with my all family tiered. Finally they give us two single bed rooms. I pay for two rooms two bedrooms. This property very poor and fair properly. We are 5 adults two kids. We can’t sleep on the only two beds. Some people sleep on the four. I asked please provide extra blankets and pillow they said we can’t provide. I am living USA 32 years I see first experience with first time in my life. Before travel two days I contact the this property. they said your reservation okay. When we come check in and don’t have available. They have to hold our reservation until midnight.
