Excellent Spa, swimming pool. Drinks responsible priced. Lighting in our room did not work properly, room 524. The coffee machine had not been cleaned and had dripped old coffee into the clean mugs.

One night away

The room was a bit basic but very comfortable. For what you pay it is a better alternative to say a travelodge. I thought it was very good value. Breakfast was included and was very nice. Good facilities. I will stay here again

I've always wanted to stay in an industrial estate

Pros: Friendly staff, all facilities (restaurant, bar etc.) on site.
Location: There's very little to do nearby. You stay there as a base and travel to other locations.
The hotel is located in a commercial estate adjacent to the Humber Bridge. Because of this it's quiet (apart from the main A63 road passing close by). I had no problems with any noise although others of my (fairly large) party said they found it intrusive. Transport into Hull isn't the most convenient either. The staff are lovely; true Yorkshire folk and most welcoming. I can't fault them. The room was clean and well presented. I do feel that a hotel in this category should offer Air conditioning although staying in April didn't cause a problem.

Overall stay was ok.

Pros: Room was clean, spacious, comfortable and staff at front desk were pleasant and polite.
Cons: Room was very dark with all the lights on. Bathroom could do with a bar of soap as opposed to just shower gel and a shower cap. More coffee and tea.
Location: In the middle of an industrial estate so not much to do but conveniently located in the areas we needed to be that night and the following day.
Overall experience was ok. Shame the view of our room window was of a roof top with a corrugate wall and a door about 5 meters in front of us! Quite depressing.

Okay Hotel, lack of AC and unable to open windows

Pros: Gym, breakfast,
Cons: The hotel desperately needs Air con in the rooms.
Location: Not much to do in the surrounding area. I stay here for work, so not that bothered by this.
This Hotel has some good facilities and is generally okay, but the heat in the rooms is stifling. For some strange reason the rooms are far too hot and there is no way of opening the windows to let air in because they have been clamped. I have stayed here for work purposes for the past 2 weeks now and in that time I haven't had a decent nights sleep. Subsequently, I'll be looking to book alternative hotels. I have highlighted this issue to staff, and they were not very forthcoming in helping.
