Moldy smell

The room smelled like mold. I came home and my clothes reeked of mold. They are stains all over the bed. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. There are other hotels near sunset beach.

Generally pretty run down with a few glaring design and maintenance issues. The newest and nicest thing would have been the shower except that the floor grout was left unfinished (rough) and the door seal was left untrimmed so it couldn't shut. The only light in the vanity area is an overhead recessed light BEHIND where you stand. There is no fixture near the mirror, only a cover plate where it is supposed to be, thus you and your face are always in shadow/darkness. HVAC cools well but is quite noisy. Parking garage is actually good but I was surprised how dirty my rental got in only 4 days. All of the photos show a oceanfront balcony and no ocean-facing option was provided so I thought all units were oceanfront. Only ½ or less face the ocean and of course mine faced US1 and the adjacent strip mall instead.

What is not to like about this property. I had the 2 queen suite. The room was very nice. Close to beach and food. Parking on site was free. Will be staying here going forward.

There was a balcony off of our room. You could see the beautiful ocean, but the only thing is is that they say they have a continental breakfast and their continental breakfast consists of just a cup of coffee to them there’s no food for breakfast.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Understandably, beach sand is hard to leave on the beach, and not easy to remove from room. Just a condition of environment. Bed sheets could have been changed more often. Other than that, no complaints. Appreciate the location. Will be back to visit again.

Close to Beach

This is an older hotel so if you’re wanting any frills, this isn’t the place however, you have the beach right across the driveway that’s what I pay for and my frill lol. The water pressure is very weak for the showers. That’s the only negative. I have to say this is our go to hotel when we wanna stay close to home. And be by the beach.
