Rooms were dirty, the hotel seemed rundown, and needs some upkeep on the maintenance aspect. Alot of broken things. One benefit of the stay was the staff was friendly.

I didn’t receive room service none while I was there. I HAD TO GO GET CLEAN LINING AN THE FACE TOWELS HAD HOLES AN STAINS ON THEM..They put me way in the back where there was roaches crawling around stinks in there on my second night I stayed in my car to sleep…They say the room was renovated an it wasn’t.. My baby got ate up by bed bugs.. I wish I can get my money back… I will never recommend anyone to stay there…

Horrible experience!!!! Stayed this past Labor Day weekend. Important: This hotel is also known as Travelodge by Wyndham Indianapolis Speedway on Expedia and other websites. The nasty smells alone. Very, very sticky floors (leave your socks and/or shoes on in the room unless you want to wipe the floors yourself like we did. At check-in, they hand you a photocopied piece of paper to sign for your reservation. We booked a "Lake View" Queen room for two and it faced what looks like a retention pond created for an apartment development. Moldy bath mat. Broken windows, mold, upside-down power outlet in the bathroom, furniture that is falling apart and/or damaged. The TV contrast was really and couldn't be adjusted. I do not recommend this place at all.

We didn’t stay as the rooms smelled like a dog groomer had set up shop in the 2 we were in I booked for two King rooms and when arrived on site they only had one booked for me. Went back to the attendant and turned our keys in and left the property. Highly would not recommend this site for staying in Indianapolis.

The property is not well taken care of. The inside carpets in the halls, smell like dirty socks and are visibly dirty. The room has hair in the shower. They only had pool towels with pubic hair on them to shower with. The bathroom was dirty and not properly cleaned. I had to wait about 4 hours fpr someone to clean it so my kids could take a proper shower. There was a piece of someone's fake hair in the chair next to the bed. They would not switch us rooms becaise they said they were sold out but there were the 2 rooms next to us that were vacant for days. I would not stay here again.

Large motor lodge with lots of rooms. Looks relatively nice when you get there. Even the rooms look nice and renovated when you first walk in. Went to turn on the TV and it turn on but nothing would show. I checked all the connections, which looked correct. I went to call the front desk, but the phone did not work either! …So I used my cell phone to fail the main number listed on the phone, but when I called it, got a massage that it was out of service. Pretty funny! I then decided to warm the dessert I brought with me from dinner. Yup, you guessed it… the microwave didn’t work. I decided not to try any of the other appliances. In the morning at “breakfast” the waffle iron wasn’t working properly and did not get warm enough so it make a big mess and the waffle was not cooked even after a good while. So my son didn’t eat. The juice dispenser was nearly not working, but I did get a coffee and the last of 5 boiled eggs. I took the one that didn’t look like it had already been chewed. My bed and shower did functioned properly! :)

Staff were friendly, and the room was clean, hotel safe and with a nice atrium and lake view. However, the hotel needs more repair and work. Loose faucet in bathroom, poor water pressure and heat, no anti slip in the bathtub (dangerous) and a loud beeping from a smoke detector in an unused room next to mine continued for my whole two day stay, even though I asked staff to make it stop. They said they couldn't, on checkout.
