Really cool hotel,grest central location,easy parking and friendly chilled out young stsff but they just need to twesk the boiler,waiting 10 mi utes to get hot water for a shave was frustrating but stayed here before and deffiantly stay here again

Parking and clean room but no dolls for check and random people going into the building thinking bistro and bar are open.if this is a regular no eating facilities have the front door locked and staying guests use their room cards to access.

The hotel is in a very convenient location close to the downtown area, which makes it easy to explore the city on foot, and it was that on site parking was available and free. The rooms are modern looking, but we found the bed terribly uncomfortable, as did our friends in another room. The leg was coming off one of the armchairs in our room, so we only had the use of one chair. The glasses that were provided with mugs and such for tea and coffee were not clean, and the garbage in our friends' room hadn't even been emptied before they checked in (at 5 p.m.). Check-in was easy enough - we had to go in to the bar and everything was ready for us. When we asked the person at the bar for suggestions for a dinner restaurant, we were told to just go downtown and find something -- not very helpful. In terms of comfort, cleanliness and service, I can't say that I would highly recommend The Crown Court Hotel.

If you’re ok with a chilly room, tv that doesn’t work, a restaurant that doesn’t exist, a lukewarm shower and a lovely musty smell…this is the place for you! I will admit the bed was fine and the room was clean.

We came expecting to be able to eat dinner and breakfast here but they had closed their kitchen. Otherwise, the staff were polite and helpful, and the room was clean, warm, and quiet.

When I booked this hotel the main amenity I was seeking was an on-premises bar and restaurant. Apparently at some point between my reservation and our trip the restaurant closed. This was highly which disappointing because it’s a bit of walk to the main city center. There are a few restaurants within a couple blocks but there hours of operation weren’t great either not opening until 7:30 and in some cases 9:00 a.m. We had two 8:00 am tours so it was really inconvenient that we couldn’t even get a continental breakfast. The “hotel” is basically a multi-unit Airbnb. Okay, but not what we expected. The room was spacious, quiet and clean.

The room smelled of mould and mustiness. The bathroom shelf was falling off the wall. The bathroom light did not work. There was no restaurant so no food at all. I would not stay there again.

Room was clean. It was very cold and couldn’t get heaters to work. Finally found someone who reset the breaker. Room seemed very quickly put together and cheap. Bathroom had a strange smell like construction/chemical smell?? We did enjoy the location.

Crown Jewel

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the Crown area upper part of Inverness. A short walk to the main hub yet far enough away from the noise of the down town! A short 10 minute walk to shopping, restaurants, train station etc. beautiful historic building on the outside and modern in the inside! Very spacious room with seating and lovely bath.
