I loved that this hotel was located near the John Wayne airport and provided a shuttle service. We simply called the hotel when we arrived and they sent the shuttle out. We unfortunately were not able to use it for our departure because our flight was too early but we used Uber. I also love that they had free breakfast but it was the same every day. They also had an evening reception which included 2 beverage tickets each night of your stay. They had snacks to go along with it. That was really nice as well although it could be a bit longer. The hotel could use some renovations. It seemed very dated. Overall it was a pretty decent stay.

Lots of improvement.

3rd time staying here and most likely the last time. Traveling from Temecula we arrived around 4 15 ish and upon checking in we was told maintance was working on the room still and it will be hour and half wait. I asked was there other rooms available the 2 queen suite and was told no. The female agent than contacted her manager and stated we might can upgrade to a bigger room which would have been amazing, like a complementary upgrade but a few minutes later was told we can check into the room. We was very tired so we just wanted to get checked in. I'm a hotel supervisor and right away I noticed the room was dirty.... Eye lashes on the floor.. Room looked like it wasn't valcum, just disappointed in the trip.

It was OK. Embassy Suites usually offers a hot breakfast, as did this one, but this time it was a little below par & not even hot. The one exception was the made to order omelets, but wait for that was almost 20 minutes. Maybe because this location was closer to the airport?? Just had better stays at Embassy Suites before this one. .
