Really nice, quaint property with beautiful furnishings and fabulous roof deck! Staff were great, they have an excellent setup for food and beverages. Location for access to walking in Istanbul is outstanding. Be prepared for hills! But the views are worth it!

What a find! Charming boutique hotel with modern upgraded rooms, on a quaint cobblestone street, well tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city but a few minutes to Galata Tower area and Karakoy. Attentive staff, who are super friendly and accommodating. And can't beat the location, next to many dining options and shops, and convenient transportation at your door step. Lovely breakfast served on the rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the Bosphorus. Highly recommend. I would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms. The staff were the most customer service focused individuals I have ever encountered. While the rooftop restaurant was not actually at this location, and was a little walk up a hill, it was worth it for the view and delicious food. They did have full room service as well. I would stay here again and again.

Central location to historical and new Istanbul town. Conveniently located -10mins walk to catch the ferry to Asian side of Istanbul. Great staff, was given an upgraded room being bigger but noisier for 2 reasons. It was on floor 1 facing the busy street and open street cafes and as it was just above the entrance lounge and close to the elevator. The security latch on the door was broken, it did look ans if it had been broken into with the marks on the door trim ? and if I was travelling alone I would have requested another room. In our travelling group the other rooms were secure and no issues.

The location of this hotel was a real positive. It seems like the staff are working hard, but there are some organizational issues. My room was unfortunately very small and cramped. I wish I had booked a larger room. Maybe I'll try again in the future.

Loud at night - above saxophone/jazz bar - played late into the night every night - same set, too. Slowest internet I've ever experienced at any hotel (3mb down, 8mb up), Terrible service - calling down for water and bottle openers and not getting any reply. I asked to move rooms, they did not do it even though there was vacancy - I could not sleep due to the sax player. Not worth it for the money. It is in a good location.

It was an absolute blast staying at DeCamondo Galata- location, service and best of all our Manager- Mr. Ozgur who helped us out with different touring options as well as complimentary services really made our stay so much better that we even extended our stay by few days for the hospitality. Highly recommended place in İstanbul!
