Hotel right downtown. Beautiful view from corner suite. Couldn’t turn off AC in bedroom with outside temp 33 overnight. Shades in bedroom and living area broken. Bathtub bad rust stain. Furniture quite scuffed up.

Nice room, but problem with other noisy guest!
The desk staff was pleasant and gave us all the vital information when we checked in. Our room was very clean! Our only issue with the condition of the room was that even though there were two toilet paper holders, we only had half a roll, which we ran out of. We also had a problem with the hotel guest in the connecting room to ours. They were playing the TV super loud until 11:30 at night, when we finally banged on their door, and they turned the volume down to a reasonable level.

The hotel and our room are very antiquated. Our tub was severely stained and unexceptable for a hotel with a good rating. We had a suite which we asked to have the temperature adjusted after the first night of not being able to get the temperature above 66 degrees! We were in Ithaca in October so it was chilly at night. The second night was no better and when we asked for extra blankets we were told there was a shortage of blankets in the hotel so we could only get one! We love Ithaca, especially in the fall and decided to splurge on a suite for our trip which now we have realized the money was wasted. The furniture is beat up and antiquated as well as abused! We like to be a little spoiled when we go away which is infrequent for us , but we definitely did not feel that way here! The staff was very pleasant and always apologetic but that only also goes so far! We will never return to this hotel as the experience was not relaxing or fun as far as the hotel was concerned.

Overall, this hotel was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue I had was the thinner walls. We stayed in the North Tower 3rd floor. We heard a very heavy footed person above us, as well as the person next door turning on music after midnight.
