Our room was very clean and comfortable. The little lake really needs to be better maintained. There was a lot of plastic bottles and trash in the water. We loved the ducks and turtles and fish but think they would be happier if their home was cleaner.

Clean bedding. Friendly staff . Showers were old and hard to operate. Small black bugs were in the bathroom. More black bugs that I believe were baby roaches were on the desk area in the room. Breakfast was minimal and inconvenient to make in a small area. Guests had to wait on each other to get out of the way to get food.Very cramped.

We were there to escape the hurricane. People were nice, the person who cleaned our room was super nice as was the night time clerk. I spoke with the manager about a bad smell in the room which I saw him write my room number down but nothing was done about it. When I checked out and he asked about the stay, I said something about the smell not being addressed and he had a look of surprise on his face. I understand it was busy but really??
