The host and hostess were most hospitable. I enjoyed the time spent with Mr Kim in learning about the unique culture of Jeongju city. I did not realize I could manually control the heating. The temperature in the room was too warm. Otherwise, it was a most pleasant one night stay.
Great location and even greater host!
The hostel is right next to the train station. The bus to the Hanok Village is on walking distance. The host is really kind and helpful. 10/10 recommend!

그다지 추천 하지 않습니다
전주영화제 때문에 뒤늦게 숙소를 예약하게 되었습니다 후기를 보니 여러 자잘한 단점들이 지적 되었지만 사장님이 친절하다는 얘기와 아침식사가 제공된다는 점이 끌려서 예약을 하게 되었습니다 아침식사는 나쁘지 않았습니다 다만 ...사장님이 친절하다는 점은 글세요 ... 제가 원래 예약일 보다 하루 정도 빨리 체크 아웃을 하게 되었고 출발 전날에 전화로 제 사정을 미리 말씀드렸습니다 그러자 사장님이 인터넷을 통해서 취소하면 수수료가 붙으니 하루치 요금은 그냥 현금으로 돌려주겠다고 말씀하셨습니다 정말 좋은분이구나 생각하고 안심하고 전주로 가게 되었죠 처음 숙소에 도착했을때도 환불 문제에 대해 다시 말씀드렸고 하루치 요금인 30000원을 돌려주겠다고 하셨습니다
오케이 그럼 다 해결된거라고 봤어요. 여기까지는 괜찮았는데
영화제 도중에 제가 또다른 사정이 생겨서 급하게 또 하루를 앞 당겨 체크 아웃을 해야 했어요 그렇니깐 원래
예약한거 보다 2일 을 앞당겨 체크 아웃하게 된거죠 그런데 이미 그때가 늦은 밤 시간이라 2일치 요금인 60000원을 돌려 달라고 하기 미안하기도 했고 그럼 서로 합의 봤던대로 1일치 요금인 30000원 돌려 달라고 나름 양해해 드려서 사장님한테 말씀드렸습니다 그랬더니 계산해서 주겠다고 하시며 짐을 빼서 나왔는데 왠걸 ? 갑자기 수수료는 빼고
환불해주겠다며 23000원 주시더군요 ....... 원래 합의 본 바로는 30000원 받기로 했고 더군다나 2일치
요금을 돌려줘야 할 판인데 수수료까지 제외하고 환불해주셨습니다 ... 솔직히 그말 듣고 너무 화가났습니다
처음에 통화 할때나 첫날에 합의 봤던 내용하고는 완전히 다른 태도였고 ... 언제 수수료를 붙인다고 저에게 말을 했던가요 ?
솔직히 첫날 부터 시작해서 마지막 날까지 이용하는데 있어 사장님의 태도나 까칠함이나 그런것들 다 참고 있었습니다
헤어드라이기도 아침에 방문 앞에 놔줘야 하는데 제 방 앞에는 놓여져 있지도 않았고 어디서 가져가야 하는지
아무런 설명도 없었는데 사장님한테 가서 여쭤보니 그냥 호텔복도 있는거 아무거나 쓰면 되잖아 ? 라는 식으로
말해서 무척이나 기분 안좋더군요 첫날에도 날씨가 무척 더워서 에어컨 트는 리모컨 좀 쓸수 있겠냐고 여쭤보니
지금 5월인데 무슨 에어컨을 트냐고 저녁엔 더워서 불을 때고 있으니 에어컨 못튼다 절대 안된다는 식으로
말하는데 그때 뭔가 좀 아니다 싶긴 했어요 ... 휴 ... 사장님이 너무 본인 기분에 따라 게스트들을 대하는게
불합리하게 느껴졌습니다만 어째든 참았습니다 ... 그런데 마지막날 아주 그렇게 행동을 하시니 대체 날 어떻게
봤길래 이런 부당한 행동을 하시나 싶었습니다 앞으로 이 게스트 하우스에서 예약을 할꺼 같지는 않습니다 분명
제 글에 사장님이 답글을 달고 되려 제가 잘못했다는 식으로 말씀을 하시겠지만 어째든 제 주변에 친구들이 있다면 이곳은 왠만하면 피하라고 하고 싶어요 여러분도 참고하시길 바래요. (거기다 방음도 잘 안되고 샤워기 수압도 낮은건 덤 입니다)
