We have rented using VRBO for years now and this was our least favorite condo/cabin. The dishwasher was broke before we got there and never fixed. The WiFi didn't work the entire time we were there. The bathroom doors were difficult to close. All of the appliances were outdated. When you spend this much money on a rental, you would expect it to be in better condition and have everything working that the listing said would work. To me, this was a case of false advertisement. I understand things happen, but this was the first time we arrived to a rental where something was broken or not working and nothing was done to fix those issues.
Now with all that said, we found out the day we left that the condo was sold. So apparently, the previous owner was in no hurry to fix anything due to it being under contract our entire stay. My recommendations to the new owners would be, if you plan on renting this condo out, finish the renovations that we're started, and get everything fixed. Renters should not show up with things broken or WiFi not working when they are part of the listing. If so, then at least give them some of their money back. After all, they spent their hard earned money based on your listing.
We won't be staying in this condo again.
