"Beautiful hotel right at the beach. Fantastic interior design especially the restaurant area. Everything is maintained permanently and therefore the hotel is looking like brand new. Unfortunately the sewage pipes are also a problem in this facility like in many others in Greece which results in an unpleasant smell in the bathroom and the balcony. However the management is aware and eager to solve the issue. What is special about Margarita Sea Side is their unique concept around their guests. Although located in a highly frequented place the hotel exclusively dedicates facilities and staff to guests only. External guests are only permitted in the restaurant after 7pm. The ratio of staff vs. guests is over-proportional is high which ensures maximum service and attention to those who stay at Margarita. The sun beds and umbrellas are of superior quality and cleaned every morning. As a guest you are keeping your space throughout the entire stay which avoids stress in the morning to secure your spot. Only downside: you are not alone on Kallithea Beach. Especially during holidays and on weekends the beach is packed and noisy hence privacy is limited. All in all I can fully recommend this hotel if you want to experience a remarkable concept which truly stands out."

"Unser erstes und letztes Mal in einem All Inklusive Hotel. Das Resort und unser Hotelzimmer war schön und sauber das wurde gepflegt und gereinigt. Leider war die Qualität des Essens nicht besonders gut und schmeckte eher fad und nach Kantinenessen. Es war auch eher für die Englischen Gäste ausgerichtet und weniger griechisch, was wirklich sehr schade war. Zudem wurden wir beim Empfang sporadisch über alle wichtigen Themen und Aktivitäten im Resort informiert und aufgeklärt, diese musste über eine App abgerufen werden und auch dort wurde nicht informiert welche Zeiten beim indoorpool für Kinder gelten. Das Personal im Restaurant war sehr freundlich. Nach dieser Erfahrung werden wir All inclusive nicht mehr buchen so sind wir viel freier und flexibler und können die lokalen Restaurants besuchen. Ausserhalb vom Resort ist nicht viel los und daher ein Mietwagen von Vorteil um Sehenswürdigkeiten oder auch Thessaloniki zu besuchen."
