Reasonable hotel.
Hotel is economy, so to me that means no frills. The hotel is no frills but there are also some poor aspects which are below anything "economy". Curtains do not keep out any light. Limited plug sockets and in awkward places. Can hear every conversation in the corridor from 6am when you are trying to sleep. You can also hear other rooms toilets flush. Good points. Bed was comfortable, shower was powerful and hot, although not full height and is hand held. Room was cleaned, towels replaced. Hotel is extremely clean. Service was good. Breakfast was plentiful and met expectation Hotel is dated in style, but not run down.

Very basic with rock hard beds
This is a very basic hotel more like an old style college dorm room. It was very inexpensive and conveniently located. Breakfast was excellent.

Perfect to relax
Good location, clean room and with all what you need to relax. The decor needs updating, looks like hotel from the 80s but not complaints. The breakfast was good, nice selection. Staff was friendly and the price good too.

Good Hotel, friendly staff
Staff spoke english and were friendly. Good wifi in the room. Room was clean and I got fresh towels & bin emptied on the second day. Breakfast was good too, continental buffet. Lots of options and definitely worth the extra money. Would recommend for short stays, it was just what I needed

Thin walls.
This hotel looks pretty bad from the outside but inside it’s ok. The wall are very thin though so you here absolutely everything from the adjoining rooms and the hall when trying to sleep.

The location is excellent.Airport bus stops just 2 blocks away (5min walk) and lively areas around Katowice station are also very close. You can also take bus to Auschwitz/Oswiecim in another direction 2 blocks away (5min walk). 24-hour reception was helpful to show me the way to the bus stop.The room looked old but well-maintained. With bathtab you can get relaxed:) Wifi was a bit weak (capacity reason?).

Pleasant But You Get What You Pay For
Our room was a garish mint colour featuring a bathroom door with a broken lock and matching broken toilet lid. The curtains were just squares of thin cloth and I found the bed so hard that I ended up sleeping on top of my duvet. My partner was fine, on the other hand, and managed to sleep soundly, so perhaps this was only a personal issue? Although this is all negative so far, I probably would go again. We stayed at this hotel to attend a weekend event on at the Spodek arena. This hotel is 3 minutes walk from the Spodek, it's fantastic. It's also situated in between a Pizza Hut and a wonderful Steak and Grill. The morning breakfast buffet was pleasant and the room was spacious enough that it didn't feel crammed. The reception staff and host to the breakfast were always friendly and eager to help when asked on. Since we spent most of our time in the arena, we weren't too fussed with how the room was. All we wanted was a bed to sleep in and a shower to use. I struggled to sleep the first two nights as I couldn't get comfortable but after rearranging the duvet to be beneath me, I found sleep easier to come by. At the end of the day, the hotel has the word "Economy" in it's title and therefore expectations shouldn't be that high. I'd most recommend it as a place to crash after attending the Spodek, and not as a holiday destination.

Full of 80s character
Rekeive the golden era of communism in this wonderfull 80s hotel. Superbly clean.. great food and breakfast. Amazing value!! Lovely staff.
