I really enjoyed my stay.
I arrived late at around 11pm, tired from driving in from Vancouver and the highway was treacherous with falling snow conditions.
The gentleman at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile. He efficiently proceeded my check-in and handed me my room keycards and gave me directions to my room which I was able to get to easily.
Throughout the night, I couldn’t believe how quiet the room is even though the hotel is situated by the main road. Not a sound.
Next morning, I got up at 7am for the free continental breakfast. I walked by the front desk and again, the same gentleman with the warm smile gave me directions to the breakfast area without me asking.
The lady who work to stock the breakfast items did it so professionally: warming bin full of freshly cooked bacon, Bread and muffins in the bins.
Although showing her pregnancy where it seemed like she might still have a few months before her baby is due, she bends down to stock the mini ridge full of small yogurt cups.
She stock condiments, utensils, paper napkins, jams, etc. It’s so nice to have everything stock up and available.
The tables, the countertops, the floor, the garage bins just look tidy and clean. No mess.
The 30 min that I sat in the dinning hall enjoying my breakfast, she quietly and diligently working away.
It’s great to stay at a place where staff take pride in their jobs and truly made a difference for me, a tired traveller.
