The view was spectacular Overlooking the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was really good. The hotel itself needs some updating. The carpets are really badly stained, the elevator is quite slow and there is only one elevator and many guests. The key cards failed often. We had to update on a daily basis if not more, which was very frustrating. We were on the fourth floor waiting for the elevator to have our key card recoded. There was many additional charges such as daily parking and resort fees. Food on site was quite expensive and because of the cost felt that the food should've been a better quality. An example is nachos for two people is $35 and if you wanted to add a little bit of chicken or hamburger, it was an additional $15. All around a lot more expensive than we had anticipated but again the views were great.

The air conditioning sounded like a freight train in the room. Either suffer from heat or listen to that all night. I requested either another room or a discount. Received nothing, not even a call back. Paid a lot of money to stay there, not happy with the service and I don’t usually complain. But there should have been something done. Restaurants and service were amazing.

So this is just an average place. Based on my experience for the nights we stayed. The staff were amazing and they were very helpful. Great work by them. The property… meh. Going up in the elevator you are greeted on the 2nd or 3rd floor with the most disgusting carpet, stained and full of trash. The room was clean but the rest of the place needs some updating. I think the carpet needs to be pulled up and burnt.

We loved the property, beautiful setting on the water and enjoyed the pools. The room however needs a reno for the price they charge. The bathrooms need updating and the carpet and tile floors are really old. On the plus side the bed was really comfortable.
