I think I would be giving this place five stars on everything but I visited during construction and in the dead of winter. I liked the room, I like the location of the hotel, and I loved the privacy and quiet of that little island. Or spit. I really enjoyed the staff, they were super nice and helpful, and even though it was the dead of winter and construction was going on, I could see the other guests were enjoying themselves just as much as we were. It's a very nice property in a very unique location and if you get a view of the river, it's quite nice to sit there and watch the mighty Columbia flow by. I highly recommend. Yes, there are some fancier big hotels but I'm going back to this one the next time I'm in the area. I especially want to see it during the summer because they have a beautiful pool and dark and there are some places for boats within walking distance.

Always like staying here. The rooms are being renovated which is good. Was a little disappointed "The Crows Nest" restaurant on the 4th floor still under renovation. Other than that same good service and location. Breakfast is still great. Looking forward to seeing it when renovation is completed.

Pros Staff was professional and friendly, check-in was fast, shower pressure was great, breakfast was AMAZING (in the top 3 ever, and we travel a lot) Cons Bed wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped (not as bad as others we’ve had at hotels), the property is a little run down, and also currently under construction. The pool and hot tub are currently out of service. I’m frustrated that the property didn’t disclose this. Upon check-in I asked how late the hot tub was open and the gal said 10pm. Once we saw it was closed, she said, “I wasn’t aware if that”. How can you work here and not be aware? The maintenance guy we ran into the morning of checkout said the hot tub is cracked and has been down for quite some time. This didn’t settle well that the staff didn’t disclose on their website, or in the welcome email, and then lied about it on check in. For the price, we would definitely stay here again. The awesome breakfast buffet made up for the hot tub being unavailable. The gal stocking it was friendly and the buffet was neat, delicious and well stocked. The only thing I wished they had in the buffet was yogurt.

The elevator has issues. My son got stuck in it for about 5 minutes. It just kept going from floor to floor without stopping where he needed it to stop. I had to wait several minutes outside of the elevator and press the button three or four times before it finally came to my floor and opened the door. It just kept going to who knows what floors, stopping, and not coming to my floor.

They are in the middle of a renovation. Amazing beautiful area hotel is dated, but should be much nicer after the renovation. Everybody was very nice and kind, everything was very clean. Amazing view of the river.
