Could have been better

Loved the property over all. The room we were given was dated and in a shamble, a mirrored door was totally missing from the closet, the toilet had to be flushed numerous times to remove waste, cabinets were delaminating and the tub/jacuzzi needed some caulking. Just not what I expected from a resort in Key Largo. I guess because we stayed for only two nights we were considered transient and given what was left over. I don't know but MDMR you could have done better for our money.

The property was in a good location, between 2 restaurants with a nice pool and right on the canal. The room was good sized and clean although you could hear EVERYTHING outside. That was the biggest downfall, it was pretty noisy from early in the morning to late at night. Some of the staff were really nice and helpful but some were a bit short and not super friendly. Overall a good place to stay but they could make some improvements to be excellent.

Bedding was clean and room for the most part. There were nooks and crannies that cleaning has missed over the years. Kind of seems like Florida patina! Overall it was a good stay. We ate at Sharkey’s Sharkbite Grill, very pleasant waitress who is great advertisement for Key Largo. Overall, good stay.

The towels were plush, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The room had broken blinds that allowed people to see in. The ceiling had cobwebs, the shower had mold. The plugins next to the bed wouldn’t hold a plug. The ceiling fan shook were we thought it was going to fall.

Located right on the marina canal. Definitely an older establishment with noticable wear, but our room, the lobby, walkways and grounds were clean and tidy. Staff was very nice and courteous.
