Loved the property! Our room was nice, I especially enjoyed the outdoor space (front porch and second story balcony) - we stayed at the Avalon House. We used the pool in the evenings and I loved having breakfast and lunchtime snacks at the Beachfront cafe (included). Staff were wonderful. The only downfall was the $50 fee for early check-in. Even the cheapest of hotels will allow early check-in if the room is ready. Other than that, I would definitely recommend

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary trip and stay at the Guesthouses at Southernmost Point. We stayed in the La Met house, and we loved how comfortable and spacious the room was. The close proximity to the beach and the Beachside Bar and Grill was an amazing plus. We enjoyed several meals there after spending the day walking the island. It was a blessing to be able to get a quality meal just steps away. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. I look forward to booking at this resort again in the future!
Everyone was so nice & helpful , especially the ladies at the Beach cafe - Ophelia was great Jules the concierge was AMAZING IN EVERY WAY, so very helpful! They went above & beyond

Liked: Cleanliness
The resort property is pretty with light blue paint, white trim and peach/white striped awnings. Loved that. The room was recently updated that we stayed in and was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little too firm for my taste but that’s just a personal choice. Breakfast was good at the cafe. Most of the staff were really friendly. However, I don’t think I would stay here again. When I made the reservation it said breakfast was included and the resort fee at the resort would be around $62ish. They texted us prior to arrival which was nice. Upon arrival it was difficult to find where to go. The property owns buildings all over the place. That should have been explained more clearly. Once we finally found the check in, we were informed the building we were to stay in was about a half mile away from the main property and it had no amenities. We would need to go back and forth to eat, use the pools, get a drink, etc. At check in the rep told us where to go for breakfast in the morning and the map said daily water in the room. The water had a $4 price tag on it and when we arrived at breakfast we were told we were not eligible to eat there and directed to the cafe and charged me u pricing. It was not easy to find our way around and to know where we were supposed to be. Given the size of the property there should be more instructions about what is available and where things are located. Had I realized this I would have requested to stay at the main property. There is more..
Property was great and staff was very friendly. Room had a strong odor each time I walked in, it was striking, but you adjust after being in it awhile.
Marilyn who handled the continental breakfast at Duval Garden was amazing. She was very helpful in getting us towels. Friendly, caring and courteous. The front desk was of not help. Do not like the texting way to communicate as we got not response.
We enjoyed staying at the Duval guest cottage. The room was very clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast each morning was perfect to get the day started. We would definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you!
This property was perfect for us. We were walking distance from everywhere. Marilyn and Kadie were terrific. They were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our chats with them at breakfast. The rooms were recently renovated and our room was beautiful. The bed was very comfy too. We were upgraded from the Avalon to another house at 1012 Duval and I’m glad we were as we preferred the location of the house we stayed in. Breakfast was great and fresh and plentiful. Everything was walking distance for us. Key West is a beautiful city.
First of all, let me say, this was not the Southernmost Point Beach Resort houses that I booked for. It was the Duval Gardens Bed & Breakfast. If I had wanted a Bed & Breakfast I would have booked. I wanted a hotel! Apparently it was owned by the resort but not on the property or the beach. The room had light coming in 24 hours a day as the blinds were adequate to keep out the light. The noice was also a problem including rooster crow all hours of the night! The was no place for luggage so we used the ironing board, also no full length mirror. It was in walking distance to most everything. The breakfast was sufficient.
Enjoyed our one nite stay. Check in was a disaster but only because your computer were down. When I conversation with the receptionist I mentioned that my wife ha a walking disability, your worker immediately changed the reservation to a handicap accessible room. 👏
