The ideal resort to stay at on Koh Lsnta.
We were impressed by the hotel. The pickup from the pier went smoothly. The bungalows were great. Staff very friendly. The meals were delicious and a live band played every night. The pool was very clean. The sunsets were stunning. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The outside area of the hotel is lovely, there is a nice bar with music and restaurant on the beach. There is also a small pool area, which helps a great deal to cool down in the heat! The rooms themselves are fine, has the basics but could use a little freshen up. If your after just a place to sleep and wanting to be out of the room most of the time then this place is good. The road which the hotel is on is currently under construction, which looks a bit chaotic but once you are in the resort/on the beach its not noticeable. Renting a moped from the hotel is easy, and the location is great to visit the rest of the island.

Not the best, but not the worst... the rooms have bugs as the housekeepers don't close the doors when they're cleaning so all the mosquitoes come in during the day. Also the beach is very rocky and unswimmable. Breakfast was decent though

The hotel was great but we were there during low season so the restaurant and all extra facilities except pool were closed which was unfortunate as it looks like it would be a nice place. Note the beach was very dirty during low season.

Very nice individual bungalows with own beach
My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. They h ave their own fleet of motorbikes and can make all future travel arrangements for you. Very nice and helpful staff. Fun!!

I will not recommend this hotel for family with kids. It was bad experience when one of reception staff advised me to slow down my kids voice when they swim around 0730 in the morning with her sour face. If you have kids , what you expect? It's happened in first morning and ruined my entire stay at this hotel. First male staff who assist us upon check in was so friendly and helpful.

It is low season so the place was very quiet. Reception was closed at 5pm and we were left stranded on the morning we left because the day before she didn't book a taxi when we asked. Would not recommend.

Perfect holiday, amazing value, great staff
We were thrilled we had chose here as it was perfect. The beautiful gardens and nice relaxing pool beside the beach was exactly what we were looking for. The staff were always there on hand and were very polite and always helpful. Our rooms were big and clean ad our whole stay was flawless. Loved the island too, perfect to get away from all the touristy places.

cozy little resort directly on the beachfront
We loved being directly on the beachfront and enjoyed the nice pool area and surrounding tropical gardens. The staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcome. They provided us with help and information about where to go, what to do, good restaurant and bar recommendations and also helped us with our airport transfer on short notice. We would highly recommend this resort.

Not what it says on the tin!
Lamta pavillion was not what I expected from the hotels.com website. I was planning on being here for a week to get caught up on work before relaxing but there was no wifi in the room as advertised. There was also just a small tv. The premesis where nice and for £9 a night I shouldnt complain to much but its frustrating when you book expecting certain things that are not there. The beach was also very rocky, the beach down klong nin is much better

The staff went above and beyond!
The staff earned Pavilion 5 stars rating from my wife and me. They were ultra friendly (Thailand is good like that!) providing service with a smile. But it was the little things that made me smile. For example, after trimming the coconut tree, they graciously offered my wife one of her favorites: coconut water. The masseuse offered her grapes - btw get a massage by the beach; total awesomeness. And Robert, the manager, needs special props. Let me explain.... My wife was looking at restaurants with dining on/near the beach and I thought: I can do better than that, I could set up a table on the beach myself along with candles, sunset, and the whole beach to ourselves (minus a few friendly felines). So I asked Robert if he could help and without hesitation he eagerly said sure. Met the cook and set a time all without the wife knowing. The staff at the Pavilion did an outstanding job, from the presentation and taste of the food, flowers, candles, music (they brought out a stereo just for us), cleaning up the beach, and just in time to watch the sunset, the wife was VERY happy. This made our trip and earned me a few brownie points :) All of this at a superb price of going during the off season. Thanks again to the staff at the Pavilion for going above and beyond.

Great Hotel, Great Beach, Great Stay!
The Lanta Pavillion is a great choice while on Koh Lanta. The Beach, although rocky when the tide is low, is great! It's clean, and during high tide you can relax on the lounge chairs, swim in the gin clear waters. During low tide, it's a bit more difficult to swim in the ocean, but you can always hang by the pool or rent a scooter to visit nearby Saladan area for some shopping; or head South for a visit to the undeveloped beaches. The Beach offers a relatively decent night life that is perfectly balanced. If you want to head out on a tour, they are super helpful providing you various options always taking into account your budget and expectations. Ask to speak with the Manager, Rob, he is amazing and wants nothing more than to make guests happy. The restaurant's food is typical in price and offerings. However, there is room for improvement Ie: Hamburger patty should be at least half the size of the bun. Fresh milk with coffee rather than coffee whitener. If resorts had table tents that offered English to Thai translation on food and basic requests for patrons and staff alike, it would alleviate issues pertaining to allergies, or preferences when ordering thus removing the potential for errors, as well as give people the opportunity to learn a bit of the language which is always appreciated by locals (just a suggestion for the customer experience). Overall, I would recommend a stay at The Pavillion.
