Have just returned from 7 days stay at Garden Palace, fully recommend it for staff help and friendliness, very comfortable beds, great food and position. Only down side is the lack of a lift but there are always staff available to help with suitcases to get up/down stairs. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and see you next year.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the main square. We were on the 3rd (top) floor and that means six big flights of stairs with no lift! We found the rooms very clean and the beds very comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, just on a lower floor.

Very nice staff, standard rooms and they give you every day two bottles of water. Breakfast average. If you arrive late at breakfast, the buffet is empty.

Great hotel, warm, close to square friendly staff

Pros: Warm, plenty of space,fridge in room,big shower, clean,friendly staff, good food, would definitely go back
Cons: Stairs were not an issue for us but older people or disabilitys would definitely need a lift
Location: Great location close to main square an shops an food etc,
Great food central to everything had a lovely time couldn’t fault hotel

Convenient hotel for city base

Pros: As above
Cons: The room was quite small and a larger room would have improved our experience. For 3 nights though it was fine.
Location: Good location with nearby restaurants. Convenient for city centre sightseeing.
The hotel was conveniently located for sightseeing being about 10 minutes walk from the main square but in a quiet area. The garden was a lovely oasis in the city. The staff were extremely helpful.
