lack of information

I stayed in HARRIS Hotel & Residences Sunset Road from 13-20 June 2013 and overall was disappointing even though staff were friendly but so many things to point out during my stay. I stayed in room 3631 ( Harris Suite) bedroom was fine but bathroom need more attention,bath and sink water drain very slow and we have to pull out the plugs,silicone around bath need to re do and mould on bath wall in second bathroom,shower curtain never get changed for one week stay,entrance door closer didnt work and none of them noticed,on the second day my stayed i asked for spoon and i got an answer from a lady in restaurant that she worked on her own and cant leave,its really disappointing and when i asked for a taxi on my 4th night stay,a guy in reception asked me to take freelance transport from hotel without explained me what is the charges and at the end i had to pay Rp.50.000 to carrefour,when a regular taxi will cost me only Rp 25.000 what a silly..and upon my departure a guy in reception gave me my bill and i was so surprised when i checked my room bill. I used my room telephone twice to call within denpasar but they charged me more than what i used. when i asked to him he told me that once i dial a number that will be charged automatically eventhough didnt get through to destination number...as far i know we will get charged only when get connected with destination number and they never ex[plain to us upon check in or no information at all in the room directory. anyway,i wasnt happy with the hotel overal especially with the hidden charges and lack of onformation.

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
