This was an APA property. The rooms were much larger than APA rooms in Akihabara, but I couldn't compare them to other hotels in the area. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were nice. The beds were comfortable and the controls on the bed were useful. It was convenient for transportation, as there were bus routes nearby that could take you to the station or to shrines. But the area around the hotel itself lacks many restaurants or shops. You'll likely need to take a bus to shop anywhere or to dine. Luckily, it's a 10 minute ride or so to get to Nishiki or similar shopping/dining areas.

Very close to bus stops. It’s located in a central location. I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was courteous. They do have a washer and dryers. The bed was comfortable. If I am back in Kyoto this is a nice spot. Also super affordable. There is an awesome bakery close by that the locals love so go check it out .

During our stay we stayed at multiple APA hotel locations in different cities. This APA hotel was farther out from the train station although it posed to be closer to it when we were booking it. There were only busses that we could take however there were multiple bus stops right infront and across the street from the hotel which made it accessible. The location of the hotel is on a main road. It was incredibly loud at night with ambulances, and loud cars all night every night. There were a few restaurants walking distance but if they were full, places ended up being farther away and not easily accessible without a car. One night we chose a sushi place 5 mins walk from the hotel, which was full and before we knew it we were out walking for over an hour just trying to get to the next place we could find space and the ratings were decent. The hotel restaurant only does breakfast and no other meals. Thankfully there are a couple convenience stores like a Family Mart and Lawson across the street which helped. This is the newest location and hotel. We loved the room size, amenities, the bathroom, the TV in the room and options to cast on TV the best out of all other APA hotels we stayed at.
