Location is excellent. Our little kid (less than 2 years old) loved the view of shinkansen and taxis moving around. It helped us a lot for comforting a little baby. The hotel was renovated with good quality interior and TV. Price was good compared to other hotels.

I was told to check in via machine, but my credit cards were not accepted with the machine, ending up with check in again after spending time to stand in line and input info. I wish they would let me to check in at the reception desk from the beginning.

Just across the train station. Lots of restaurants around the area. The train sounds can be heard a bit but it does not bother me. The rooms are spacious (booked 2) for Japan standards. There is an ice machine and water refilling station on our floor (I believe there is one on every floor) Easy check-in and check-out. The staff were very nice. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Japan (this is my second visit to the country and have stayed in 3 hotels each time).

Good hotel located on the Hachijo side of Kyoto Station. It’s literally across the street from the station making it very convenient. There are plenty of dining and shopping options within easy walking distance. The Aeon Mall is located right around the corner. The room was spacious by Japanese standards and had good amenities. The price was very reasonable, too.
