The age of the building was a big turn off. Bath tub has some stain in it. Staff was excellent and location was also good since it was within walking distance from Westfield UTC shopping mall.

Great place to get rest… close to UCSD where my daughter is enrolled and now has moved into apartment just across the way. Lovely area with easy access to shops, restaurants and public transportation.

The minute you walk in the sweet aroma of Marriott’s custom scents that is circulating throughout the hotel vents lures you into the beautifully designed hotel. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and the hotel itself is located in the prime location of shops, restaurants and UCSD that are are all within walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had a nice view and faux balcony. The only thing I could have changed was my exact room because it was a connecting room & could get a little noisy with the room next door. My family was already settled & did not want to change rooms. There is also a breakfast restaurant Fresh and an evening bar & restaurant which is convenient when you just want to grab a bite. The staff was friendly and we would definitely stay again.

It was less than half a mile from where my daughter lives. Therefore, being within walking distance to see her and our new granddaughter was truly a blessing! Having Nozomi, Starbucks and L&L BBQ nearby was soooo convenient too!

Majority of the time there were ppl for a martial arts tournament which led to kids screaming throughout the hotel. Not karate hi ya or whatever but literally screaming. Outside at night (9pm) all you can hear is various kids yelling. Not what I was looking forward to on my anniversary. Parking sucks the entrance and exit is horrible. Pool is tiny. Overall ending up leaving a day early of a 2 night stay because the vibe was not it.
