Kevin is a pleasant and welcoming host who responded quickly to queries and was very helpful in alerting us to a night market one night. The star of this holiday is the pool and garden, which is lovely, and we had it to ourselves for the whole week. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and cool in hot weather. It is also well supplied with soap, loo roll, dishwasher tabs, washing powder etc. A downside is that it smells of damp. Some details listed are out of date, notably you are a good 10 min drive from shops or restaurants as the local shop closed some time back. (NB there is a supermarket open on sunday mornings but nothing for sunday evening, although in the summer season, Chez Annie does open on sunday eves - ignore trip advisor). 'Pool towels' were hand towels, the bunk bed room is just those and not in addition to 2 singles, and 'pantry items' is oil, tea, coffee, salt and pepper. This is a rural location, so a lovely get-away-from-it-all retreat. Other than local markets (there is a very helpful list in the gite with at least one every day) and Animaparc (good for younger children) you are looking at 30-60mins+ drive to get to things to do other than local walks. Toulouse (most of an hour into the centre) offers many opportunities though, we can thoroughly recommend the Natural history museum, Cite de l'espace and Musee des Agustins for starters.
