The staff at the Golden Nugget are great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a nice size. We had 2 rooms booked - one for my husband and I and one for our daughter and soon to be son-in-law. Unfortunately, the rooms are very overpriced for the dated and worn-out condition they are in. Our room was not very clean - black mold on the shower door was unsightly and concerning. The wall in the water closet looked like it had been kicked in and poorly repaired, as well as a spot outside the shower. Maybe water damage? There was a cute 2-seat booth in the room but it was stained and filthy so we never sat there. If a hotel wants to charge premium prices for a room, they should offer premium facilities. In addition, our room had a musty, unpleasant odor that seemed to be blowing in from the a/c. Come on, Golden Nugget - you know you can do better.

Planning to do at the resort. Most things are pricey but that's to be expected. Casino was clean and lots of gaming options. Room was okay. Clean but needs new furniture. Had a problem with the water. One night water was completely off & for most of the stay it took at least 10 minutes for the hot water to get hot.

I went to celebrate my birthday. I really enjoyed room (spacious) the view from the balcony. The pool with the swim up bar is awesome. My food from the Claim jumper receives no complaints, as it was very delicious. Great stay and even won some "take home cash" from the casino.
